“Great place to stay!”
Reviewed 7 February 2013 via mobile

I have to say that the Blue Lilly is one of my favorite places to stay in Boracay. Newly remodeled and prettily designed. I love that our room is less than 5 steps away from the beach. Service is accomodating and eager to please. However i do have some gripes about the place. The bathroom is too small. The door swing will make anyone turn and step into the shower just to get into the bathroom. I do wish they placed a sliding door there instead. Also, birds seem to love the quiet of the place and hangs out in their 7 coconut trees located at the front of the property. Beautiful bird sounds to be honest. But there is bird poop. Lots and lots of poop. Like rain, sporadically dropping on the deck, on your shoulder and on the cabana umbrellas. Just makes one concerned if you have children with you. But the staff says this is not all year round. So that's a relief.

Overall a good place to stay. Centrally located and very well priced.

This is sort of late review but i still would want to share my wonderful time at this lovely place.

We stayed in Boracay for 3 nights and unfortunately we had to transfer from Nigi Nigi Too Hotel since there were only 2 days available room for my boyfriend and me. We then look for another hotel nearby and came across this small yet lovely place, BLUE LILY. We approached the guy from Reception and he politely answered all of our queries so we decided to book ourselves right there and then. We then immediately transferred after checking out from our previous hotel. The room was spacious, clean, nice odor, perfect ambient, LCD tv (wall mounted), clean and new linens and beddings etc. Everything was just perfect for our stay. You can eat, drink or just simply have a coffee (they serve it for 50 bucks) at the veranda while watching the waves along the beach. There’s only one thing that that the Management should consider, THEY MUST HAVE A SMALL CAFETERIA OR RESTAURANT. Some guest like us who are couple would want to have a quality time together so we don’t really want to wander around the busy area of boracay to look for our lunch or dinner. So maybe a small cafeteria that serves pasta, sandwich and sausages will do to make this Blue Lily Hotel truly impeccable and perfect spot for the vacationer.

Check out time is fast and the attendants are all very pleasing.

Very good location of the hotel, beachfront hotel in Station 1. just walking distance from station 2 restaurants, bars and clubs. Modern design but slightly small bathroom.

The staff was not helpfull and very stressfull demanding the arrange your departure transfer..had the feeling to be kicked out as soon as possible. Breakfast had to be preordered and it was very poor (1 tosted bread in half, bit of butter and bit of jam in a plate - second cup of coffe was charged,...unbeleivable)

As location is concerned reccomended.

Room Tip: Try to get upper room

It was my first time to visit Boracay in April of this year. We stayed at Blue Lilly resort which is just a few meters away from the beach . I especially chose this place for its proximity to most attractions. I love Boracay and would want to come back, the people are nice and the beach wow its white sand , also the girls in bikinis hehehe i love them. There are lots of places to eat whatever your budget, the sunset is so mesmerizing.

This is a small hotel between Station 1 and 2. The location was excellent for us because we wanted to both enjoy the serenity and cleanliness of the water plus we wanted to be close to all the day and night action at a convenient price. The hotel room was fairly good sized for 2. We spent 6 nights on the first floor and 2 nights on the ground floor. I would recommend you go for the rooms on the first floor although the ground floor is equally good. The room has basic equipment, a big bed and a smaller one, air condition and a refrigerator. There was a very good level of cleanliness with the staff cleaning our room every day and supplying us with clean towels when requested. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating to our requests. The price of the resort was very good and there was breakfast included in a next door restaurant. During our 8 days stay in Boracay we scanned the entire island and we got convinced that we got the best deal! The beach in front of the island is simply amazing and breathtaking. 5star hotels with 100 times more expensive rates are in within few meters from the hotel but why spend all these money when you can stay at Blue Lilly Villa and enjoy the nature? I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is not looking for a "resort" type of stay and wants to pay less and still get the full package and feel the vibe of the island day and night. I also recommend having massage on the top of the hotel during sunset - very soothing and relaxing.

Room Tip: Room on the first floor have a better overview of the beach

definitely one of the best beachfront hotel in Station 1. just walking distance to willy's rock and the happening station 2. nice and clean room and very modernized design.

the only bad thing is about the staff. most of them are quite junior and not really helpful. i actually pre-booked my airport transfer online...this happened as i was told at 11pm that my shuttle pickup is 6am the next day while my flight is actually 4pm! with so much of discussion with him, he agreed to help me check it out the next day morning. however, after 30minutes, he approached me again and told me that "sir, sorry to inform ur pickup time is 6pm tmr"..then i'm quite stunned as my flight is 4pm!

other than some minor incident which did spoil the moment a bit, this is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: get a room on the second floor.

As they require deposit, I had to book the 1st night via www.myboracayguide for 15% deposit, while the other 2 nights booked via email directly with the villa. Full payment by cash is required upon check in on the 1st day.

Hotel transfer: The villa outsourced this to other agent, so I just booked directly with www.myboracayguide.

Location: At station 1, it is near to the hype of Station 2 but yet far from the noise, which is good. It is neigbours to Ariel's Point registration booth and Diamond Watersports for parasailing adventure! *Hint: Book directly with the companies intead of via the 3rd parties hanging around the villa. It is cheaper.*

Room: We stayed on the 2nd floor Room #7 so view from the room is beautiful. During our stay on the 1st morning, there was heavy rain so the high tide nearly reached the 1st floor. It is safest to stay on the 2nd floor.
And there is no door hole for you to peep who's outside & no phone too. When the staff knocked on our door at midnight to remind us of the next day's pick up transport, we were kind of shock.
Bed is confortable though pillows are soft.

Wi-fi: It's free & excellent network! Get the password when you check in.

Toiletries: Only two sets of towels and a bar of soap is provided which they change daily, so don't forget to bring the rest of the stuff! And there is no wardrobe in the room, though hangers are provided. Toilet is small but clean.

Laundry: No laundry service but there is one laundry shop behind the villa at walking distance, called Lavendar. Only cost about 120 pesos for minimum 3kg! Send at 9am, can collect by 5pm.

Breakfast: Price include breakfast at Jonah's which is next door but taste nothing great. With the free breakfast coupon, you can only choose between Filipino & American set.

Overall it was still a memorable honeymoon and affordable stay! :o)

Room Tip: 2nd floor, facing the beach.
