“Fascinating Resort, Good Food, Good Service”

We secured their transfer services from Caticlan to the resort and it was well organized. The resort has their exclusive port access and an impressive waiting lounge for guests. We were served a free drink and a disposable wet towel upon arrival at their lounge. They used a speed boat to transfer us from Caticlan to Boracay Island and a van was waiting at the Boracay port.

Upon arrival at the resort they served another welcome drink. Our check-in was smooth and in 5 minutes we headed to our rooms, check out was likewise fast. The only downside was the labyrinth of halls from the lobby to where our rooms were located as it took quite a while to reach our rooms. Not recommended for those who do not enjoy the long walks.

Rooms we got were Deluxe for quadruple sharing (room 361) and Grand for triple sharing (room 369). Room 361 has a tub and a shower, split type aircon, refrigerator, telephone, two double beds, cable TV, writing table and a coffee table with two chairs. Room 369 was more spacious, with one double and single beds, a shower, telephone, flat TV with cable, veranda with towel stand to dry clothes and towels and with outdoor seating that provides a view of the swimming pool and the tropical landscape near the pool and the restaurant. Our rooms were conveniently located near the beach though.

The resort has a good location. You can easily access the beach from one of the entrance. Public transport like tricycles is available at the back entrance in case you do not wish to walk. It is a 3-5 minute walk from D’ Talipapa (market place where you can likewise eat, buy food and shop for clothes/souvenirs) if you take the back entrance going to the left side and a bit longer if you access from the beachfront. It is a 5-10 minute walk from D’mall (another place for dining and shopping with more restaurants and stall choices) and where Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located.

Their staff is very attentive and courteous. The choices of food served in their restaurant (Garden Café) are delicious. The café has a nice ambiance.

We recommend this to families with young kids as they will surely enjoy the pool and beach and friends who like to enjoy the comforts of a decent resort after a long day.

Room Tip: Choose room 369 as it is more spacious and near the beach

When we arrive it was late already and we were so tired after 18 hours journey, but checked in was done in a breeze. The room was slightly old but big. We got the junior suite and it was superb. It was very quiet even though its in station 2. Access to the beach is just 3 minutes away and right in the middle station 2. Breakfast was a simple affair. And the staff was very friendly. Would definitely book this hotel again and recommend it to everybody who wanna come to boracay..

Room Tip: Get the pool side room. It's worth every penny.

I definitely have to say that I was over all very pleased with Boracay Garden Resort. The staff were wonderful and the service was exceptional.
I loved the dinner buffet. AND breakfast!!! What a great way to taste different foods for only about $10-$15 per night ($CDN). We ate dinner there every night because the service anywhere outside the Hotel was definitely NOT exceptional.
Loved the swim up bar. Towel deposit is a great idea.
The staff helped us get back to the airport very efficiently and since there was constant chaos surrounding us at all times, they made it a lot easier to get to and from places.
The ONLY problem that I had was my bed was too hard... Like way too hard. I had to order 4 extra comforters to soften it up. Room 237. Please note this for future. I'm also sure that the construction will subside somewhat soon, though it wasn't too bad.

Room Tip: Ask for a room by the pool/swim up bar. Or balcony!

As a whole boracay garden was good for staying. The amenities were complete. The food was great esp at the breakfast buffet. It served a lot of choices. My daughter enjoyed the pool.

Rooms negative point for me has no bidet in the cr and toiletries lack toothbrush and toothpaste snce where on a suite room and grand rooms...

Housekeeping staff were polite and accomodating.

Great location, beach front hotel at Station 2. It is just a few steps to D'mall, and the beach front water is clean. Has gym and pools fit for a good hotel. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Good buffet meals, except that they did not serve bacon in their breakfast buffets. (boo!). The room they gave me is close to their cafe/restaurant and to the white beach access. They have lots of beach lounge chairs available. Its beach front is right where the lifeguards are stationed which is good.

They do not have hair dryer, microwave ovens, cabinets in their rooms, and slippers, toothbrushes are not provided. deluxe room is huge though.

Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for a room discount, and ask for a room near the pool, cafe, and the beach!

Gorgeous pools, great rooms, perfect location, helpful staff (especially when you grease their palms), I'd recommend the premier rooms. My mate and I stayed here for over a week and were sorry to leave.

Room Tip: Choose the Premier room, not that much more expense wise and just a little bit nicer furnishings and...

My daughter and I spent nine days at the Boracay Garden Resort last week and it was a wonderful hotel choice for us. It was very central to all three beach areas of White Beach and the pedicab service made it extremely easy to get around Boracay. The pool was just amazing and one of the longest pools I have ever seen in a hotel. You could actually get a real workout swimming laps in it. We had a third floor room and the air conditioning made the room extremely comfortable. The room was spotless and the beds were wonderful. The breakfast buffet far surpassed my expectations. We received superb service from every hotel employee we met and the housekeeping staff were efficient in making up our room everyday. The only negative comments we could make about this resort were as follows: They wanted 1000 Php for a three day internet code. Even the cheapest hostel in our travels has free internet access. It goes without question that a resort of this calibre should not be charging for internet access. The management should really remedy this. I also felt that the gap in the door leading to the balcony allowed mosquitoes in at night and should be closed. The shower was so low on the wall that even though I am only 5' 3" tall, I could not stand under it. Their check-out procedure was rather lengthy and should perhaps be reviewed by management. They insisted upon having the room "checked" upon our departure, so allow time for this if you need to get underway quickly. Other than these four items, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It was a real oasis of relaxation.

Room Tip: Less noise in the third floor and the balcony drying rack was very handy for wet towels and swimsuit...
