Been here last year,February 2013. It's our first time to visit bora then. Their warm welcome just marked everything positively. From their warm towel, beaded necklace, welcome drinks...friendly staff, clean rooms, kids play area, pool and food. Their excellence in service is truly admirable. Everything is really worth remembering. Thank you so much

The Hotel is ok, but definitely too pricy. Is well kept even if the room are not very new, and service is not great but it is somehow efficient, a bit too efficient when the staff welcomes you in fast-speed mode. Their restaurant is good I would say. The breakfast is relatively good, even more for Filipino standard.
We took their proposed transfer service from the Kalibo airport to the Hotel, what was well arranged. The only thing to take into consideration is the long bus trip required, around 2 hours so suggest to take the Caticlan airport in the case of a regional flight.

Room Tip: There are only a few rooms with see view (as you can see on the shared pictures), the only problem i...

Its my first time in Boracay we spent our first night here in Microtel with my Aunt and friends. Its a great Hotel.Far away from the noisy part of the Boracay Island. Perfect place for relaxation and I love the privacy that you will definitely enjoy most with your family and friends or best for couples . Beachfront with a swimming pool plus the complimentary breakfast they serve, scheduled shuttle service , 24/7 hotel security, wifi is an Ace. The price is just right for the room is big and very clean. Lastly the Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful . Its a must try experience. I will surely come back here.

Room Tip: All rooms are very clean and big.

Hotel is located far away from the noisy part of the island.
This is place nice for relaxation, have their own pool and beach front, more on privacy and nice view. Hotel staff are helpful and they offer a shuttle service to station 2.
The rooms are big, though the TV is not an LCD but ok.
The breakfast is good but not great but still ok.
They have complimentary coffee at the lobby and got a playground for children.
Overall the place is good for those people who are looking for relaxation in boracay away from the party side of boracay.

Modern and clean budget hotel on the most "paradise feel" beach in Boracay. Pros: fantastic location, efficient staff, modern, clean and budget, ok pool right on beach. Minus: no view from the rooms, average breakfast selection, beach a tad crowded right in front of the hotel. Overall a Safe and good value choice to stay on Diniwid beach.

The day starts with a breakfast where you are to eat whats given. You can not ask for other things without beeing charged extra. The staff looks worried and bothered if you ask for other things as cheese or other custumizations. Feels like an army/hospital meal. The staff are friendly but seems to hold back on resources to the guests. Looks like it is a part of the policy to save costs. This is not very clever in a world with different people with different cultural breakfast routines. If you are lucky to be able to eat whats given, the food is good and tasty. The rooms are great, but only a few rooms has a good view. The transport to d Mall works perfect. All in all I had a good stay. I still cant defend a 4 star rating. To me this is a middle 3 star hotel without any luxury any place (exept the trillion dollar location) I think this hotel has a lot of potential. I recomend this hotel to families with children.

We stayed overnight in this hotel (Dec. 26-27) after spending two nights in Station 2 hoping to get rid of the crowd at least on our last night. The hotel staff was very accommodating and we're happy that two adjoining rooms were given to us.

What seemed to be a relaxing night turned out frustrating for our supposed dinner and few drinks after sitting for 30 minutes at Mama's Fish Restaurant as no one bothered to take our order. My daughter approached one of the waitress twice but she was ignored. These 3 lady staff were quite busy accommodating a handful of foreign tourists and we understand that . What is more annoying was when the head waitress instructed her staff to take the order of the Asian foreign couple at table # 2 (I heard it myself) who just sat for 5 minutes. Without a word we left the place and made a last minute transportation (8PM)booking to D' Mall. Before leaving for a very late dinner, we complained to the Front desk on duty and she promised to bring our concern to the Restaurant concessionaire management.

During my occasional foreign business trips, I was never treated and discriminated this way. Sadly, it happened in my own country (only in the Philippines). We may looked like budget local travelers, but we could equally give tips for good service as a matter of practice. Majority of Boracay tourists are foreign nationals but please accord your Kababayan probably not the best but at least better treatment.

Note: My rating is for the hotel only.
