“Great hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

The hotel is well situated at station 2.

The staff at the restaurant for breakfast are always smiling and helpful.

Rooms are clean and big, staff is very nice and willing to help.

The beach is just few meters away and there is always an hotel employee there so you can leave you stuff near your beach chair while you go swimming.

The group singing at night is ok, it's not very noisy if your room isn't too close to it.

The service at this hotel is super and starts from the General Manager on down. I noticed that the GM is always around to check on and encourge the staff.

The hotel and its surroundings are always attended to. Simple requests are responded to quickly. The pool area is well-maintained. Breakfast buffet has enough selection. You can order eggs prepared to your specification.

I found a good price for this hotel at hotels.com.

The hotel SPA offers outstanding massages at good prices. Try the HILOT massage after a hectic day and then listen to the live band by the restaurant.

Its central location on Station 2 means you're close to everything, specially the D'Mall. North to Station 1 and south to Station 3 on the white beach path is just a step away from the hotel entrance.

My room was above average considering the impact of the climate on the physical structures of the hotel. It shows that the hotel tries to keep up with the wear and tear of a seaside environment.

WiFi access to the 'net is strong and sufficiently responsive.

There is no such thing as perfect so I'm giving this hotel 4.8 on a scale of 1 to 5.

This hotel is one of the best hotel at the best location. Their Poolside room with the best amenities are truly amazing. Their breakfast is amazing while dining infront of the beach. Drinking hot coffee while watching the waves of the sea in the morning.

location location location, beach front turn left you got small convenience store and cheap beach massage (it only cost 350 peso, yes it masseur talk a lot and hand a bit rough, hey it cheap dont complain, mandarin got it own massage and spa and cost a bomb) turn right to D mall.
Since location is good be prepare to be swarm by people selling you selfie stick, activities trip and massage, just ignore them or politely say no, they will walk away.
Room is clean and bed is comfy. Free Wifi and nice flip flop for you to walk around. You could get beach towel from the reception and walk like 10 step into the beach.
If you a light sleeper stay away from room 101 or couple room in front cause live band play every night. it does not bother me tho. The band is below average for me but if you like rock alternative go to truly only like 4-5 building from mandarin next to le soleil

first timer to Philippines dont spend all your peso cause u need 500 per person for airport tax.
apologize to my dutch friend cause i short change you on peso but there is all i have and you agree to it.

Room Tip: get room at the back if you are light sleeper. live band is on every night

Location - Beach front property. Right smack in the center of everything. It is just a short walk to d'mall. Food choices is bountiful. Mc Donalds is close by for the kiddos who are picky eaters.

Room - Clean & spacious. The a/c in our room made a clicking sound that may be disturbing to light sleepers. My sister didn't get a good nights sleep. Bathroom needs some modern amenities (in comparison with the competitors). Very strong water pressure.

Service- Staff were very nice. They would always say "good morning or good afternoon" even in hallways. There is complimentary wifi and a free packet of sunscreen - nice!

we spent 3 wonderful nights in this hotel last summer. The reception desk girl was super friendly as upgrading our room and introducing the facility to us.The swimming pool was very good, and you could borrow the towls at the reception desk as many times as you need. There were a lot of restaurants nearby, and it's close to the market as well.
