Normally when I read scathing reviews I assume they are written by the type of person who would never be happy with anything. However in the case of this hotel there is no other option.

Having booked this hotel over the net and based on some positive reviews I was shocked at the state of this place. It had obviously been allowed to run down very quickly. Walking into the reception / dining area it reeked of mold and mildew. Walking out to the courtyard one of the double glass doors was broken and boarded up. The staircase leading up to the room also had a broken window in it. Arriving in our supposed suite (the tiniest I have ever seen) we discovered the only view was over what appeared to be someones backyard rubbish tip.

We checked out immediately and went and found another hotel, Fridays, which was lovely although relatively expensive by SEAsia standards.

We risked heading to Boracay in September for 9 nights and we had really bad weather for the first 5 days. But that didn't really matter as we used this time to check out the island, eat, sleep and relax with daily massages and pedicures. The final 4 days were magic with not a cloud in the sky.

Boracay Beach Club is in a perfect location I think, not too far to D'mall and in a pretty quiet spot, we walked along the beach to get everywhere. The rooms are basic but have all you need, aircon, pay tv, nice bathroom, comfy bed. Staff are very friendly and will do anything for you, food in the restaraunt is basic but nice.

I would definately reccommend this place to others!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Boracay Beach Club with the Adventure Package, we had such a great time because of Boracay Beach Club.
We were picked up by one of the workers, Jeffrey who was very helpful and told us the great spots on Boracay. Leahlyn, the front desk representative was very helpful and sweet, always had a smile. We checked in very early, around 8am and they already had a room available for us to stay it. The room was great! Clean and modern.
Service was top notch in Boracay Beach Club, if you order a drink, they won't make you wait for it, they will drop it off to where you're going... the pool, the beach, the room... almost anywhere! The food was great! My boyfriend missed the breakfast when we came back.
We stayed in off-season... so we practically had the hotel to ourselves, the pool was well kept and usually empty and the beach is just a walk away and there were always lounge chairs to relax on.
The locations was pretty good, a bit of a walk from the busy strip Station 2&3 and D'Mall... but not far at all. And it was right beside a club if you are into dancing, lounging and enjoy cheap drinks! The club noise didn't filter in the hotel though which was great. And it was also located in Station 1, near the beautiful and quiet resorts. So staying there was taking in the best of both worlds!
Some suggestions when staying in Boracay Beach Club. If you want to take in the Adventure Package, its a good deal. But you can also just book the nightly rate and if you walk down the beach, there are tons of people who can give great discounts on activities such as parasailing, reef-walking, bananaboating, atv-ing and paraw, some may get nervous doing so, but my boyfriend and I got really lucky and had amazing discounts on activities, he also took pictures of us while we were doing the activities! You will also find endless amounts of food in Boracay, so don't limit yourself to just one place. Friday's Restaurant at the resort was great! And Jonah's Milkshake was awesome.
I'm planning to go back to BBC next year because of the great service, it was definitely the highlight of our Philippine trip partly due to the impeccable service! Thank you to the workers who made it a great vacation!

We stayed here in May 2009 for 6 nights. To make it easier for everyone I will break it down for you.

Location: They say station 1, but it is mainly between 1 and 2. About 10 minute walk (depends on how slow or fast you walk!) to get to beachfront hotels like Waling Waling or Fridays Resort. For us the location was great. We only had to cross over the road and there was the beach. This is right next-door to the bar Ariel’s House and another one, I think it was Cocomangas. Right across from the hotel was clubs like Guilly’s Island and Club Paraw. We preferred Guilly’s, better music and crowd. The hotel also has a well-kept and clean swimming pool which we never used as we were always on the beach or the roof-top deck, which was very very hot!! We were the only 5 guests up there, it was like our own property!!

Hotel Staff: Very friendly and helpful apart from when we just arrived one dude breaking the handle off my cabin bag and not even saying sorry!! We had welcome drinks on arrival to and when we left we had a souvenir photo taken which they placed in a fancy photo frame for us!! Room attendants were excellent and always gave us extra things whenever we requested it. They left the room spotless!

Food: We had the breakfast included in our package that also came with a Banana Boat ride, 10 drink coupons (which could be used either at breakfast or at the bar), in-room massage, complimentary daily fruit basket, free wi-fi, boat tour to Ariel’s Point and a Sunset Cruise. Breakfast is made to order with a small range of food on the menu. Drinks, you can only choose 1 drink, as your token is only valid for one. So I would only have a pineapple juice and that’s it. If I was still thirsty & wanted a Milo choco drink then I would have to pay extra and again for another pineapple and so on. So we felt like we were restricted. I would say this was the only problem, as you can’t order any more food/drinks without having to pay extra. There was only a small piece of fruit for each of us, either 1 banana or 1 half slice of a mango and you couldn’t ask for anymore. So probably next time we wouldn’t have breakfast, we would walk to somewhere else and have a nice buffet-style. On our 1st night our dinner was complimentary and our tokens were worth P400 pesos per person, so we could order a nice desert and fancy shake!

Rooms: Very spacious and comfy big beds!! We had the Deluxe King room that had 2 king beds. The bathroom was a very good size with a walk in shower, complete with amenities (shower gel, soap etc.) also with a hairdryer. There was a fridge/minibar complete with sodas/beer and water with prices at a reasonable price. There are 3 floors and you ask if you wish to have a balcony room, which are a bit more expensive. We didn’t have the balcony but had a good view of other local houses and greenery. Another feature was that instead of key card slots to open the rooms they have a scanner on the door that you wipe the card across and the door will open and also they have door bells too which had a funny sound and could get annoying!! but it was it made me hurry up!!

Overall great location, great staff, clean and excellent rooms, I would stay here again but wouldn’t choose the breakfast, for the price we paid for this package we could’ve had more food included.

I stayed at this resort for 4 days (August 1st - 4th 2009). It was by far the best resort I have ever visited. The staff constantly waited on you hand and foot by opening doors, making suggestions, calling in reservations. You name it and this resort had it. It encompassed the most plush and clean rooms imaginable. The pool and roof top desk was marvelous. During our stay not only did we take advantage of the wonderful food but also the drinks, water sports, and complimentary massages. My friend and I even chatted with the owners everyday because they were so friendly and kind that they called us by our first names. The last day, I was pleasantly surprised that the resort gave us a picture frame with our picture taken at the pool. The owner even helped us secure a hotel in Manila for our remaining stay in the Philliphines. She then had a driver take us to our ferry in which he boarded the ferry and road with us to the next town to ensure our safety. There is no comparison to this resort. You will do yourself a big dis-service to book anywhere else besides the Boracay Beach Club (BBC).

Boracay Beach Club.... ROCKS!!!! Our week vacation at this beautiful place is something that will stay with us for a lifetime.

We were fortunate enough to meet the owners(husband & wife) of this hotel and they are just fantastic! They treated us like their long lost relatives and see to it that we get the best care while staying at their place, since we are two women on our own and so far away from home.

Our room was real nice with two queen size bed and sweet scented sheets. The fridge was always stocked and everytime we needed something extra..all you need is to ask, and they will deliver! What we loved the most is their pool with "Life Is Good" written underneath the water. We also enjoyed sitting in those little private areas around the stairs where they have comfy chairs if you want just to reflect and be on your own away from the crowd.

The location is just perfect. It's closed to everything....few steps away from restaurants, fast foods and nightlife! Their own restaurant located in front of the hotel is the place to enjoy a snack or a cup of coffee during the day, and just to laze around and enjoy the piped in music surrounding the airconditioned place. At night, the restaurant awakes at around 10 o'clock and that's when the party starts with beautiful people crowding the place with live D'J's !

Best of all....their beachfront lounge and "Ariel's Place' is the place to be....all day or early evening where you can just enjoy the white beach and have a "Pina Colada".

My friend and I just loved Boracay that we decided to stay a couple more days. Unfortunately, Boracay Beach Club was fully booked and can not accommodate us for those extra days....but luck was with us 'cause the owner was able to get us a room in a hotel called "Beachcomber" for those extra days that we wanted. We were so happy that we stayed longer 'cause the new hotel was also a place we enjoyed so much!

All in all...Boracay Beach Club is A+++++++++++++++++ Just loved this place!

With so many places to choose from, one always wonders if the reviews they are reading are doing justice to the hotel you are reading about. Well have no fear, the boracay beach club is everything and more.
While not beach front, the beach is 30 seconds away. The thing I liked best about this place is its size ( I hate crowds). The rooms are very nice, the employees great, food good, quiet, great location, nice pool, and in room wireless internet.
A personal guide from airport to hotel, resturants, bars all right there. Reasonable pricing, travel packages available ( breakfast, dinners, drinks, banana ride, sailing,in room massages included.
