Very interesting to learn more about the maritime history of Singapore but not sure who this is aimed at. Young children would not appreciate the information provided and adult will find it boring if not into the history. But not expensive and worth a visit if the history is of interest.
This museum is not worth to pay for. I went as the tickets were included in my staycation package. However the typhoon theatre was pretty interesting...
The items in the museum was so classic and antique. We spend more than 2 hours here to read and take some pictures. We also had a movie at one of the part.
Nothing much to shout about this place. A normal museum with some artifacts and history of Singapore Maritime. If you want to experience the Typhoon test, you need to pay extra SGD3 per person to get in. It is just a short movie with multi-sensory simulation enhanced with special effects so don't expect much from it. This museum needs signage as it is big but could make you go round and round the same place.
One of the cheapest attraction at Resort World Sentosa. It is a great attraction if you want to know a little more on the history of Singapore, how a tiny island becoming a trading harbor. It may be a bit boring for children. The Typhoon boat ride is really boring even for my 5 year old. His comments is that it is just a windy ride with no special effects.
A great museum, which was very educational for the children. Extremely well maintained. Got some good photos here.
