“free Service to move around Sentosa”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

It has four stops and takes you right upto the Siloso beach from the Vivocity starting point.

fastest way to commute, frequent service, but a little crowded during peak hours.

“Convenient and Cheap”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

Travelling to Sentosa? I wouldn't bother with the boardwalk. Just take the Sentosa Express and you're on your way!

The monorail is free of charge for travels within the island and this makes transit great!

However when we were trying to catch a taxi from Tanjong Beach to any of the Sentosa Express stations the taxi drivers didn't knew about the stations, so don't rely on them to bring you there.

“Sentosa Express Monorail - so convenient and quick”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

The Sentosa Express Monorail from the Vivo City shopping centre on the Waterfront in Singapore's bustling main harbour front explanade is a convenient, cheap and fast way to get to the island of Sentosa. From buying your tickets (S$4 return pp) at the ticket machine, to boarding and arriving at one of the 3 stops on Sentosa, usually took around 20 minutes. Each of the 3 monorail trains, one blue, one green and one red, were clean and always running on time.
Boarding the monorail on Sentosa to come back to the mainland after an exhausting day was an easy process, each time guided by friendly and helpful staff who ensured that each car was not packed with people. Would highly recommend this as a way of getting to and from Sentosa over the bus or taxi option. Once on Sentosa there is also a free bus service around the major areas.

“Terrible Crowd Control on Weekends”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

If you are planing a trip to Sentosa, and this is your primary means of getting in and out of Sentosa - you might want to re-think.

Clearly it's become a trend that on most weekends the service is packed.

Unless you are travelling with someone on a wheelchair, be prepared to wait at least 30-45 minutes before you get to board what would be between a 5-15 minute ride depending on your destination.
