“Expensive, but fun”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

My first time ever on a Segway and even after the training, I still felt pretty unsure about the whole thing.

Luckily, I got two rounds and by the end of the first one I gained some confidence and truly enjoyed the second one.

The staff can be a more helpful and attentive as other have pointed out. If you want to take pictures you can try to do it to the farthest point of the circuit as nobody is there ;)

“If I could give it zero, I would”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

The staff are rude, uninterested, sat on their mobile phones, unprofessional, tired, unfriendly.... the list goes on.

The fun ride lasts around 5 min per lap - and it's $12 per lap.

Not allowed to take photo's as they are meant to take your photo's; but what's worse is they didn't take any photo's! Even if there is a non rider on the side, no photo's allowed.

The disclaimer is signed twice (not sure why?) and it is meant to have the trainer sign it however, the trainer was reluctant to sign it. Why? Probably because the training was bare minimal. It felt as if we were an inconvenience to the staff being there.

A really poor experience. AVOID

“Nice Adventure.”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

Segway is a nice adventure but its too short. They will give you a training for about 3-4 minutes about how to control the segway and then let you go. The one round which you take is about 5 minutes duration. Its too costly for those 5 minutes. There is nothing free there. If you have baggage then you need to buy lockers to keep your stuff.

“Fun but Short”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

We wanted to ride the Segways. The attraction appeared accommodating but my 9 year old was too young for the "tour" so we went on the track which was billed as a 5-8 minute circuit. It was more like 1-2 minutes and then you're done. Sure it was fun but for the money it was ridiculous.

“Could've been better”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

We arrived wanting to book the 2 1/2 hour island explorer trip and were told that it had to be booked two days in advance. I explained that the website didn't mention this. I was told that the website couldn't book the trip, another site did. The girl was a little hard to understand so I don't know exactly where the trip should have been booked. All I knew was that we couldn't do it. We did book the 60 minute tour of the three beaches. We came back at our assigned time and were ready to go. They seemed very unorganized and it took a while to get us up and running. Another gentleman was booked at the same time but for a 30 minute excursion. No fewer than ten times, they got our information mixed up with his, and we all had to keep correcting them. In the end, it got sorted out and we had our trip. The segways seem to be in good working order. They gave us a crash course on how it worked, made us do some sample maneuvers, and off we went. We had to follow a tour guide, who unfortunately set the speed. I was wanting to go a little faster, but it wouldn't have been safe. We toured the first two beaches and stopped for pictures at Silosa Beach. We got to the other end and stopped again for pictures. We had some extra time, so the tour guide let us play around with them on a cul-de-sac where there was no traffic. They go pretty fast and can be so much fun. They made us wear elbow and knee pads and a helmet. Afterwards, we were pretty glad we didn't book the 2 1/2 hour trip. We didn't think this would be possible, but our feet and calves were killing us after 1 hour. The rider has to stand very still over a certain spot to engage the sensors. Our feet started hurting from standing in one spot for so long. After a while, I started flexing my feet and stretching my calves and that helped a lot. Keep that in mind when booking a trip.
