Really glad we've done this experience after many years i did it with my 5 yr old girl then, now went back so my little nearly 7 yr old second daughter would live that exoerience too!!! Much more proffessionally performed all about dolpins, their lives, differences from male & female, gow they react to humans, what do they like, their body functions and all about them and their lives and love to humans.... We really had amazing afternoon and adorable unforgetable experience with the most precious creatures in the whole world... Me and my 2 girls had really such a fantastic day full of adventure, love filled up with sympathy, laugh and laughter enjoying all about the dolphins.... We really ended up with cds full of photos and franes to keep these best moments in life endless and unforgetable..... Please go Singapore and dont miss that experience among other beautiful things and all about beautiful Singapore...... By far the best dolphin place!!!!

I surprised the family with a trip to Dolphin Island. My 5 and 7 year old did the package of getting in the water and petting the Dolphins. It was fantastic - they learnt lots from a well educated trainer. The programme included dancing, hugging and kissing the dolphin

The 10 and 12 year old did the package where they swam with the dolphin. It was the same as above except they also laid on a bodyboard whilst two dolphins pushed them the width of the pool (only one time)

As you're in with a group of people this takes some time so you lose some of the question and answer opportunity of the first package. I'd actually say the younger kids enjoyed it more as they had more information and stories to share when we'd finished.

The photos are expensive to buy but we were ready - and they allowed us to buy one CD package that covered both sessions of the family so I was happy with that

Well worth a visit, especially if your kids love Dolphins!

We are a big family of 10, aged from 8 to 50+. All of us savored every moment spent with the dolphins. I had my concerns before the trip but still booked it considering the many positive reviews. It turned out that they’re right.

The dolphins were really active and playful. You could tell that they wanted to interact with people. The trainers were professional and helpful. We hugged and kissed and “surfed” with the lovely animals. Yes, minus the clothes-changing, briefing, turns-taking, etc., the actual time with the dolphins was not very long (~20 min). But the experience was precious and invaluable.

Like other fellow reviewers, our only complaint is with the photo arrangement. Not only were the prices exorbitant (which was expected after reading the reviews), the quality was also quite disappointing – out-of-focus, weird angle, cluttered composition, etc. One of us was even left out in most of the collection. The worse was the photographer’s attitude – he seemed to be in a bad mood that day – he fought with the trainer while taking the pictures and refused to let us pool together our photos even though we’re a big extended family (he insisted that every small family had to pay for one CD). Unhappily, we left with only one hard copy.

The twist came when we later decided that it’d still be better to pay for the soft copies as we probably won’t do anything like it again in the near future. So, I wrote to Adventure Cove, detailing the whole incident, and enquired if it’s possible at all to buy the pictures days after the trip. To our utmost and pleasant surprise, they offered us the full set free of charge! This really ended our fantastic trip with a perfect finish! Thank you, Adventure Cove! We do appreciate it!

The moral of our story is: Do go if you like dolphins at all. Get ready to pay big bucks for the “compulsory” pictures. But don’t stay silent if you feel that you’re not treated fairly.

And, check out the offers at KLOOK if you are not local Singaporeans. We paid almost 20% less for a special offer for overseas citizens. That also included the entrance fee for Adventure Cove Waterpark and is a rather good deal.

We knew the price before we went - and had booked in advance - for the 90 minute Dolphin Adventure. But 30 minutes of the trip were getting wet suits on and split into groups, the time with Dolphins was actually only about 30 minutes and then more time getting changed again and waiting for the photos. We didn't wait for the photos as we wanted to get some time in the water park. For 30 minutes, it's not good value for money and there is almost no information given on the dolphins, in terms of what programmes they're doing with them, how they arrived etc. It's all about the tricks they do - which isn't what we wanted (for my 7 year old marine biologist to be son). It is amazing seeing the dolphins up close and the kids loved it but we expected more.

We wanted to see the photos at the end in the shop but even bigger queues to view them so we didn't, and as others have said the prices for the photos are extortionate. Minimum SGD $150 - for 1 printed photo and 40 on a CD. Come on, we all know how much it costs to print photos and take them. Far too commercial. You should get some included in the price.

Was it worth it? No not really. Too expensive by a long way for what you get. Wouldn't recommend it. But yes the kids loved it.

We purchased the day pass, play 3 and topped it up by $70 to do the dolphin discovery package.

The kids loved it, dolphin island itself was very clean and professional. Around 6-7 people in a group per dolphin.

Please book in advance as it's impossible to find booking on the day.

Beware of the photo prices, $55 for one 6*4 photo, $75 for two and $200 for a limited number on usb stick.

The experience itself was fantastic!
