Visited this cafe which is located within Chang San CC. They have a pretty decent selection of beer and wine and the place is cosy and relaxing. Go to somewhere in Ang Mo Kio for your dinner first before you head there for a drink or two.... The food is below average by any standards. The staffs there seems to be clueless about the menu as i think most of them are part-timers. For the record, i am not a picky eater but basic food are not even prepared right... what more can i say?

I discover this restaurant by chance when i was attending a seminar at the cheng san cc. it was formerly at punggol park & i understand they have re located to ang mo kio street 53 6 month ago.
Was glad to try it & would definitely be back,
ordered the tenderlion steak $22 & bacon alio olio $10.
steak was tender & doneness was perfect.
Alio olio was accompanied by very generous amt of garlic.
They have very creative items such as luncheon fries, skinFul chicken & fish cake fries. Deseert such as durian pengat was really very very good.
Beer per jug at only $19 with wine selection of at least 80-maybe 100 labels.
only thing is toilet is quite a walk across the basketball court.
i love the fact that the close very late... 12 midnight & 2am on fri/sat.
sadly not open for lunch. The place offers very good value for money western food tuck away from the busy amk hub.

Visited Bliss Restaurant last Tuesday with my 2 preteens n 2 teens. It is less than a 10 min walk from the Ang Mo Kio MRT station.

Heard from the server that they used to be located at Punggol Park with a nice pond view, too bad only discovered it now.

Extensive menu, plenty of options for even the most fussy eaters which 1 of my kid is.

I noticed that they provide break proof colorful crockery/cutlery for toddlers, which is nice and thoughtful.

To put it simply .... good food, great ambiance and value for $$$ as well as service with a heart

New menu and prices are still maintaining at reasonable and afforable standard level!! skinful chicken, ham & cheese stick, luncheon fries, fishcake fries (if remain at fish cake chip would be better),chicken wing (love it since punggol park... but,new location chic wing served without cutting)...service and quality i would rate GOOD...embience : Nice/Cosy with nice music!! We order 'Surf & Turt' Chicken with Lobster ,kurabuto with mush sauce very good!!! my girlfriends order mocktails & cocktails etc....wow!! will definitely do back again. Though it takes a little bit long to serve our main course (estimated i think about 25min-at least the server do informed us when taking our order) it's worth waiting!!! think this situation happened elsewhere too....we have recommended to friends and colleagues to visit Bliss at chengsan cc.....HEY, bliss has facebook account : 'Bliss ChengsanCC'

my wife who is 7 month pregnant was immediately offered extra cushion for her to lean on. children cutlery was offered without us asking for my girl. very thoughtful service.best of all, there's no service charge. i tasted one of the best tenderloin for only $22 & my doneness of medium rare came out perfect. my wife ordered alio olio sausage was of really great value. entire 9 inch jumbo sausage for only $10. really had good dinner there everytime for the last 5 years. i'm posting this review because they are moving out soon last day 24 April.
they are moving to cheng san CC in may 2011.
starting a new cowboy theme steakhouse in punggol ranch (very nice.. think of T-bone & porthouse steak ..yum yum) in july 2011.
they have also started a pizzaria in punggol CC serving pizza & pasta call BURP cafe this month. will be back for review of their new outfit.
