We enjoyed our dinner experience here. It is on the pricey side in that the cost is similar to those we would pay in London for this type of food. It was all excellent quality and although portions were small, 3 dishes each was ample for a filling meal. I loved the soft shell crab and spicy papaya salad. The avocado icecream was rich and unusual. Interesting cocktails and gin and tonics. The bill was around £100 for two of us, including a cocktail and a glass of wine each. Very fair. Friendly and efficient service.
The setting is lovely too in the floodlit former convent that makes up the Chijmes building. Buzzy atmosphere with live music in some of the bars downstairs and many people having a good night out.
