“Imagine eating profiterole in Little india: you are at French stall”
Reviewed 7 May 2012

It's not hawker, it's not a restauramt: its a mix and it brings a great pleasure. I had duck brest and profiterole (giant) with a glass of Bordeaux and this in the street in Little india. What a brilliant idea and it becomes an institution in Singapore. A sign of quality? The "chou" of the profiterole was definitively the best I had in the recent years!

“Super French restaurant in Singapore”
Reviewed 6 April 2012

The location of the French Stall is a bit unusual, at the middle of Little India ...
Our Indian taxi driver was dubious until we reached the place :)
My partner and I ordered a la carte, 3 starters and 1 main course.
We had Rillette, Salmon in Two-Way and Escargots in Crispy Skin.
They were all delicious. The salmon is very interesting, 2 flavors with the same product.
Escargots were delightful.
Then we had Duck Leg Confit with Pan Fried Foie Gras, which was excellent.
The fresh spinach combined very well with the duck leg.
Overall a very good French dinner in Singapore.
I recomment it without any hesitation!

“THIS IS A NEW RESTAURANT UPTO MY LIKING IN SINGAPORE”
Reviewed 21 October 2010

I mistook this as "the french stall". But this is different and in Serangoon street. I am rather happy to have discovered this one.

It is by the roadside and busy. I had to wait for about 10 minutes before getting the seat. The staff were busy yet courteous. I asked for a grilled salmon on spinach with mushroom sauce and garlic flavoured. Surely it was nice as close and as authentic it could be. I also asked for a garlic bread. Very simple to prepare but the right french flavour is difficult to find except in France. But here I got that wonderful garlic bread flavor with the garlic bread. The cheesecake was a treat and I must-try for me on my next trip too.
