The location of the Park Hotel could not be better, close to Clarke Quay. Typically of City Centre hotels, the room is very small, with limited storage space for clothes or luggage. The 2 chairs in the room just get in the way; there is just not enough room for them. Very clean in all areas not only the room and bathroom, but all of the public areas as well. Although there is quite a lot of plumbing noises from the bathroom, there is not noise intrusion from either the adjacent rooms or from the corridor.
Breakfast is the usual fair, although the staff appear to be very busy and overworked. Don’t know where they came from but on some mornings masses of people appeared in reception. Far too many for the dining area to cope with so queues quickly started to form with food running out leading to long delays in having it replenished.
Concierge service is very helpful organising taxis and giving location advice etc.
Reading on TA I find that there are services which were we were not informed of. Courtesy transport, free Wi-Fi in reception etc. Wi-Fi is available in rooms at a charge of SP$12 per day although most restaurants locally and in the whole of China Town this is free.More
