Restaurant details
Dining options: Dinner, After-hours, Lunch, Delivery, Reservations, Seating, Serves Alcohol, Takeout, Waitstaff
Neighbourhood: Little India
Description: Kashmir is a welcome addition to the fine galaxy of Indian restaurants along the Race Course road. The restaurant which serves a mouthwatering array of authentic Kashmiri and North Indian cuisine saw its Grand opening on 15th August 2007 and already it has successfully turned many diners into addicts who have returned to enjoy the dazzling menu and service. The restaurant is discreetly decorated with Kashmiri artefacts to create a soothing ambience to compliment the cuisine. Food and service, the indispensable ingredients to make one return to a restaurant are remarkably managed by Rohit and Shweta Razdan, a husband and wife duo, well experienced in the Indian Hotel Industry. Right from the moment you step in you can enjoy the warm hospitality of the Kashmir Valley. When the diners are comfortably seated, they ceremoniously wash the hands at the table in true kashmiri style in an ornate vessel called Tashtri. The menu boasts of a splendid variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian gourmet dishes, the Kashmiri dishes are highlighted with the restaurant's logo, a maple tree leaf that adds to the beauty of the valley by its sheer abundance. The staffs who take the orders willingly assist the diners in choosing the dishes that compliments each other.

“Restaurant closed”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

We took a taxi especially to eat here and landed smack bang in the middle of little India on a Sunday
(06/07/2014). Disappointingly, Kashmir is no longer there, just a shuttered shop front and no evidence of it's existence. I am told it closed quite recently

“Indian food at it's best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

Personal favorite.

One of the two Indian restaurants I like in Singapore. Given the fact that Kashmir has one of the best service I have experienced at a restaurant in this city, this makes my Bi- monthly visit list single handedly. Lamp and chicken dishes are delicious. Appetizers go great with the main courses in quality.

My personal favs. Try the following -
Mutton Roganjosh. It's a lamp entree with gravey.
Chicken Seekh Kebbab
Kashmiri Puloa

Great place, Great people.

“Excellent Food, Gr8 Service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Dined in on a Wednesday evening and the food's excellent. What captivated me was that the staff provided great service, even though it was late evening and closer towards their closing time. Despite that they maintained their good service. Keep it up!

“Wonderful food and service, looking forward to London opening!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

After reading all the good reviews on here, we were not disappointed by our experience and would say it more than lives up to expectations! The staff were very welcoming and more than happy to make recommendations on what to eat (which we followed and were very impressed!). The food had a very authentic feel and was a welcome change from the usual curries offered back in the UK. We are very excited to visit Kashmir Restaurant in London when it opens later this year and before then, would definitely recommend a visit for anyone in Singapore.

“Consistently excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

We have become quite regulars at this place. We've been there for at least 4 times in the mast month and tried a lot of their dishes. They are all good, some more my taste than others but preparation is always excellent. Staff is very courteous and friendly, desserts are delicious. I really enjoy this place.
