I stayed there for 6 nights during a business trip. The location is great; there are a lot of good restaurant around. I didn't have time to try the swimming pool but it looks good. The gym is outside which is a little bit weird knowing that it's usually at least 26 degrees Celsius outside.
The coffe served in the coffee bar is really good; perfect to start a long day of work !!!

The design of the room is nice even if I felt weird at the beginning with the design of the toilets and the shower. The restroom is very small and the shower door is plain so you feel like you are in a closet and you wish that the door won't be stuck when trying to get out.

The bed is great, very very comfortable.

The AC could be very cold... just put it on when you are out and switch it off when you are in it will stay cool.

So the bathroom is small, and split up into two parts (shower sep to toilet) and its tiny, but the loft style is cute. Although the upstairs should have housed the bed and the downstairs the study / living area, as due to the design you don't utilise the upstairs

Pool is ok - just lap. Location is ok too, but not close to public transport, which is a pain.

Small lobby but the distinct fragrance is a pleasant welcome. Room of loft concept with split level funky but may not be practical.  Hotel location around the quay area with lots of restaurants and bars.

Room is small although it is split level. Toilet and shower room is separated each on either side of entrance. Small and cramp. The little bench inside the shower room makes it even smaller. Just a little shelf would have been sufficient. I would say the designer overdid it.

A big writing desk beside the hugh full glass window. Staircase leaving up to 'bedroom'. A portion of the bed has a lower ceiling (probably it is the structural beam) which may be a hazard when one awake in the middle of sleep.  Under the stair is the minibar counter which also housed the safe deposit box and hair dryer. The bathrobe is hang on the wall beside the luggage rack.

The room will have appeal to the younger generations. Not recommend for older folks because of having to climb the stairs. Troublesome if you need to go to bathroom in the middle of the night. unless you are sleeping on the outer side of bed, you do not have access to the light switch and also need to get off from the foot of the bed. Also if you are afraid of height do ask for lower floor because the big glass that allow you to look down-as you walk down the stair can give you a little shock.

A lIttle lap pool about 25m by 5m of 1.2m deep allow you for a casual swim. On the 2nd floor next to the pool is a small gymn with modern fitness equipment.

Basic variety of breakfast is just nice before the start of your day.

All in all, not a bad hotel and she will have her appeals to a certain group (i think perfect for honeymooner) who wants to experience not just a normal kind of hotel experience.

The hotel is new, position is good - but this is all.
the rooms are not for a business trip - too small and unusable for two people! Upstairs is only one queen size bed and downstairs is one "chairbed".
The room didn´t have a bath room (only wc - very small - not for a big man and one small "room" only with shower - no space for shower gel, towels,...).
The staff was unprofessional !
Air conditioner in a lobby was more than terrible ! Outside 35 inside 5!.

I chose this hotel for many reasons - the Loft concept, (see the website for photos to believe it), the wonderful location, the breakfast, the lap pool were just some of them. All of these were great, esp loved the breakfast. Buffet was for two, but they never charged my child.

Reviews spoke of a terrible bathroom and toilet and yes, they were dead right. My loo doors didnt work and even after 3 complaints, the famous Millennium group hospitality didn't creep in, wi-fi access stopped on the 2nd evening and only got restored by 11am the next day.
Service was courteous but contrived; no real heart in the greetings, though the cleaning staff were nice.

So why do I still give this a 4 star rating? The loft bed, it rocks!!! Totally worth it!

Room Tip: Higher floors have better light from the huge windows. Ask for those.

If you are ever booked to this hotel, make sure that you mention the address and the name of the hotel again to the taxi or car driver. The studio M hotel is situated at Nansen Road, whereas there is a M hotel in Ansen Road, Half of the time the taxi drivers get confused with M hotel. The location of the hotel is amidst a residential area i believe. The reception desk staff is ok . The hotel room which i was allocated ( as i was on training) was too cozy. To me it looks a bit cramped comparing to the rate they charge. On entering the room you have a bathroom on one side and a toilet on the other. And taking two steps after you enter the room u have the bed right in front of you. They have provided a sink and minibar opp to the bed. You have stairs that lead you up. It is supposed to be a working station with a chair. Wonder would anybody go upstairs to do your office work, where you can just manage to walk straight due to the height. For food, not much of options available for Indian people. You do not have universal switches and would have to pay a 5 $ deposit to get an adaptor. Difficult to get taxi from the hotel unless you book them in advance for which there is a 3 $ premium. There are buses or taxi available if you walk down ten minutes on either side of the road. There is a television in the roon , but they hardly have any interesting channels. No indian channels and movie channels of course.

Nothing really special about this hotel. D room is too small for d price, but it's quite normal for singapore. D sink is outside d bathroom together w the minibar. The design is like duplex, so they hv a space on d "second" floor which I think will be a lot useful if they put d bed there instead of an office table. Only d location is close to Clarke quay.
