Marina bay
Net - would stay there again , very nice stay
Room type = club room, tower 2

Pros
- shuttle bus from airport was convenient and nice (it comes about every 20 min)
- checkin was quick
- club room  was nice - modern style
- breakfast buffet at the club lounge was excellent with a very large selection of food and an egg cook station
- as I ordered an omelette someone appeared, asked where I was sitting to bring it to me - good attentive and friendly service
 - staff spoke excellent English
- large attached shopping center, and art science center are good
- anything asked for happened quick

Cons
- subway is a 10 min walk
- pool can be busy

Tips
- water views are nice and expansive but they are currently doing construction of a park with tall structures. Go for city view.
- visit art science

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time in the Club Room and that our service standards matched your expectations.

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, which you described is Singapore’s first large-scale luxury shopping mall located in the heart of the Central Business District.

The lotus-inspired ArtScience Museum hosts major international touring exhibitions from the most renowned collections in the world. Currently, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is on till 29 April 2012 while Cartier Time Art is from 14 December 2011 to 12 February 2012.

We are excited about the opening of Bayfront Station in January that will make it more convenient for guests to commute to and from Marina Bay Sands.

The tall structures that you described are the Supertrees, which are uniquely designed vertical gardens will provide shade and shelter at Gardens by the Bay.

We hope that you will be able to return and stay with us, perhaps after the official opening of Phase 1 of the Gardens in June 2012.

We were the best stay at Marina Bay Sands, receiving top notch service from check in to check out. Have absolutely no complaints at all, only tons of praises for this spectacular hotel. We were very generously provided with an upgrade to the Sands Suite which made our honeymoon stay even more special. We loved the view from our room at level 48 and only wished we could stay longer.
The food and drinks at The Club was also fantastic. One of the highlights of our stay was our 6am swim in the pool which was divine. Watching Singapore city wake up was a magical experience. We love Marina Bay Sands and hope to return for many wedding anniversaries to come.

We decided to have a little "staycation" at the Marina Bay Sands while visiting our youngest son and his family in Singapore two weeks ago. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The room--overlooking Marina Bay, the new ArtScience Museum, the historic part of the city including the iconic Murlion--was large and beautifully appointed, The infinity pool on the 57th floor was wonderful, as were the views of the shipping activity at the huge Port of Singapore.. The room rate includes access to the famous Skypark, offering visitors a 360-degree view of the entire city. This is a must-see!

Our reservation included the sumptuous buffet breakfast at the Rise restaurant located in the lobby area. You will not need lunch after that and there is such a wide variety of choices that you will not even get to half of what they offer. It was a great way to start each day.

We ate at several of the restaurants of the celebrity chefs who have opened popular outposts there in the Shopping Center that is accessible via the hotel's two underpasses; Pizzeria Mozza (Mario Batali), HY California (Hide Yamamoto), and db Bistro Moderne (Daniel Boulud). All were delicious with great service throughout. We also had an inexpensive, lunch at the hawker-style stalls on the lowest level of the huge shopping area. Not bad for hawker food, but Singapore's REAL hawker stands offer better (and more authentic) food.

We spent some time window shopping - how so many high-end watchmakers can be profitable is beyond me. The casino is a big draw, especially for the Japanese and Korean visitors. There are two levels - the very large lower level allows smoking so that even if you opt for gambling upstairs on the "nonsmoking" level, that smoke will wafts its way up. Annoying to us nonsmokers.

The futuristic new ArtScience Museum is a five minute walk away--easily accessible from the Shipping Centre--and is well worth a visit. We saw the current exhibit on the Titanic and found it fascinating

Checking in took a few minutes, but the staff passed out glasses of fruit juices and water -- a nice touch that made the wait actually pleasant, Checking out took a minute or less.

In retrospect, I recall reading other posts--mainly with complaints--with amusement. Our experience could not have been any better and we look forward to staying there again.

Room Tip: Ask f0r a room overlooking Marina Bay.

Very short stay, only one night. Simply perfect, sight from 52nd storey is impressive, infinity pool is outstanding and room is amazingly comfortable. For sure we'll return.

Room Tip: Orchid suite if you can... almost 100 sqm of comfort in the most remarkable building in Singapore.

It's like winning a lucky draw prize. We booked 2 deluxe room and got upgraded to a beautiful huge Straits Suite which comes with 2 bedrooms, a karaoke room, gym/massage/beauty salon room, huge living/dining room with baby piano, kitchen, study room, ensuite bathrooms with jaccuzi bath-tubs, auto toilets. Amazing experience in a lifetime of our hotel stays which we never encountered in our whole life of travelling round the world. Havent seen nor heard of a hotel suite that looks like a penthouse and beautifully decorated. Everything is top-notch, clean and gorgeously interior decorated.. Check-in at tower 3 was such a breeze, avoid check-in at tower 1 which is very crowded and noisy. Skypark passage way is too narrow to accommodate the constant flow of guests or viewers - however this is one of the greatest attraction of Marina Sands. Definitely would recommend this awesome hotel to any prospective guests, you will never be disappointed to stay in a luxurious hotel neither will you be bored as there are many shoppings and eateries within Marina Sands.

Room Tip: Suites are awesome - everything is complete

I stayed for 7 nights and I was planning a proposal and then a proposal party for relatives, friends and colleagues. Aside for the poor design of skypark where the guests get drenched when it rains, poor security when the korean stars brought in an influx of crazy fans playing hide and seek in the tower 2 and lastly a few very rude waitresses at the Club, my stay at the club room was a great experience. The view was also great from the Infinity Pool especially overlooking the LightShow. The rooms are huge and well maintained, clean and spacious.

Room Tip: Choose only the club rooms or suites at Tower 2.
