This guesthouse is okay for south-east asians and budget travellers. Owner is Chinese who tries to make most profit out of it. Nothing to mention about this place, just okay for taking shower and sleep. I was travelling with my friends and most of the time we were out. Near MRT station is Little India which is 10 minutes walking distance away.

Room Tip: Check the room before checking in and ask to change the room if you don't like.

I booked 3 nights 2 rooms at this hotel for my family to stay here. We arrived early at 9 am and the room was not ready as it was full. Receptionist was kind enough to give us one room (Triple) and we were given the double around 12 noon.

Initially the rooms were not welcoming and the experience was marred by poor AC. But my folks got used to it in day 2. Singapore is a costly place and for $626 for 3 nights, 2 rooms (1 triple, 1 double), I am not complaining much.

Guys at reception were friendly and had hooked on some tour arrangements for my family.

Overall experience is positive and mustafa is 500 metres from this place.

Will stay again if i am on a budget.

We needed a cheap room for 1 night only and it should be located in the centre as we were heading to Malaysia at 5:30 AM next day. The room is very small, old and AWFUL! I haven't expected that such terrible places exist as it is located not in Mumbai, but in Singapore. A much better room in Malaysia that we also took for several hours was much better and 3 times cheaper! The beds in Zenobia hotel were dirty and uncomfortable. I could not sleep on it despite we spent more than 24 hours to reach Singapore from Ukraine and were very tired. As a result we went shopping to Mustafa center at 2AM. Now we returned from Malaysia to Singapore and live in Bayview hotel that is also located in the centre, in 2 min. walk from MRT, it has comfortable clean beds, good tasty breakfast, big rooms, pool and affordable price.

Had booked this place through booking.com, reading that it was clean and had a good location. What a load of rubbish. This is one of the dirtiest places I have stayed in and a 15min walk through busy roadwork filled backstreets to the nearest MRT.

On arrival the staff were friendly, but the filthy stairs and corridor were a sign of things to come. The first unwelcome discovery bed sheets had a hair not belonging to us on them and there were also hairs in the bathroom. The floor was filthy- too unpleasant to walk barefoot on. The room, though it had a window, was dark, dingy and dilapidated, with an unpleasant smell. We then discovered multiple unidentified stains on the bedsheets...after asking the staff to change the bedsheets, we came back to find new different stains on the 'new' 'clean' sheets and a glob of what we hope was glue on the sheet of the other bed...in the end, we had to ask the 'staff' to change the sheets a second time and watching them do this was eye opening itself- the staff seemed to just be friends of the the reception worker, with no more idea of what they were doing than any man off the street. Wi-fi reception was terrible and could only really use the computer in reception.

We wanted to get out of this place almost as soon as we arrived, but ended up having to pay an extra night's charge (2 in total) for the privilege, although we told the hotel on the first night we wanted to leave...the booking.com worker seemed to think that this hotel's policy she had on record was different...anyhow we luckily only had to spend one terrible night here and managed to get out to The Holiday Inn Atrium, which was 50 pounds more, but a thousand times better.

Room Tip: Don't book a room here.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Zenobia Hotel and it was the most awful place we’ve ever been before. My girlfriend stayed at the same hotel 3years back, and it was under another owner, the place before were much nicer.. But now it has changed to Zenobia.

Whilst on arrival, the reception was very nice, cleaned. As we checked in, they showed us to our room. OH MY GOSH! The room was very small, dirty, very smelly, no window. It’s like you in a basement. (It’s not the same like I’ve seen on the Internet)
I could see the look on my girlfriend face and we’ve wanted to change room, they give us another room, plus no window, with Air condition, with Satellite TV, hot water (but it takes time to get hot). On the walls you could see cracks, need to repaint.

Be aware to bring your mosquito repellent, because there are a lot of mosquitos at night in the room.

You could even here a lot of noise from the transport and pedestrian outside.
The only good side of the place was:
1. Free access to Wi-Fi- but only available at the reception
2. Close to Mustafa Centre, Slim Lim Tower, OG Mall, Slim Lim Square, Buggies, Mack Donald’s

I would not recommend the place.

Room Tip: better choose another place

The rooms were clean, cold aircon yet a little bit small. Bathrooms are fine occupied with a strong shower. And also fast wifi connection.
Most importantly the location was very convenient and safe in the middle of little india, walking distance to mustafa mall, little india MRT station and bus stops, as well as a vast number of restaurants around the area.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the basic breakfast provided consist of bread, butter, jam and peanut butter with coffee/tea helped to save a couple of dollars every morning.

An ideal low budget place to have a good night rest as most of us travelers would leave the room early morning and come back in the midnight. A fancy room is not a must.
