“Very interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

This building is next door to the red traffic building. Also in this area is the Singapore City Gallery. There is plenty of restaurants in the area. The museum is less than a 5 minute walk from the MRT station.
It is $8 dollars for an adult ticket. My husband and I found it very interesting. Normally it's not somewhere that we would go but we are glad we went to see it.

“A Box of Inspiration”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

We visited this museum to get inspiration for our creative company, and we saw a lot of stuff that we got ideas from. Nothing flashy, but its simplicity is what makes it nice for us.

“MUCH BETTER THEN EXPECTED”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2014

There was a lot too see and learn especially when browsing through the digital expositions they displayed! a few times a month there is a small free art market in the evening with live concerts. they have a great map that maps out a tour through the neighbourhood focusing on neat little stores and design !!

“An expensive entrance for a very limited experience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

I have been disappointed by the visit of the Red Dot museum. It might maybe be interesting for professional of design, but as an amateur I was quite disapointed by the few interesting objects you could see in the "museum". What is shown are the day to day products (plastic boxes, switches and sockets, sandwich packaging) and the 8 SGD entrance fee is much too expensive to be spent for that. I found that there were more interesting products in their (free entry) shop than in the museum!
