Location of this hotel is great if you want to stay in Chinatown. Deco indoor and outdoor are really pretty. The room was well equiped but the room was incredibly tiny, hardly space to move especially with luggages. Big bathroom but the shower head was located on top of the toilet.

I really don't know if the hotel worst it quality price wise but what I can say is that we stayed in this hotel for 4 nights because of it's location, cleaness and modernity. Not really for services, ambiance.

Convenient location couple of minutes walk to Chinatown MRT, 5 min walking to Clarke Quay. We got the upgrade room for an extra SGD10, so we didn't had to keep our luggage in the shower lol, yes it is very small footprint. But all the amenities complementary wifi, TV with CNN..., coffee and tea, safe case, fridge, water bottles, soap, shampoo, phone, A/C, elevator... Friendly staff, no breakfast, no ice machine, no vendor machines. Mc Donald and many local restaurants around. Location feels absolutely very safe. Overall hotel in very good condition.

Porcelain Hotel located in China Town Area. Take a small walk, MRT just next to you. Very convenience, clean hotel, the interior on the mirror looks alike porcelain design @ beautiful.

Lots of good foods surrounding that area.
Lots of Chinese from Oversea (From China, they are not local). If love spicy food, they are lots for you to try it up :). In overview, good foods surrounding, few attractions places surrounding, two markets with plenty of foods for your choice!

Great place to stay and value for the stay.

A great value hotel in a great location. We were lucky enough to get a very pretty room with an unusual layout - the bed was in an alcove and the "room" was really a hallway with shutters on either side looking into two courtyards. Very clean, fairly quiet. High on my list of places to stay in Singapore.

Room Tip: The cheapest rooms are very small indeed. Go for a larger one.

We chose this hotel for its location and from our research all the affordable hotel rooms in the area are small so, we were not surprised by this.

We were pleased with the location right in the heart of china town which is full of life pretty much 24/7. Also we thought the hotel had been done really well with its interior and exterior decoration which was all very unique to the Porcelain. When we arrived (having booked an upgraded room in advance) we were told we'd been upgraded to a jacuzzi suite - which was obviously great.

The room was brightly decorated which we loved and had an extra sitting area which was just as well as it gave us somewhere to put our cases and use as a 'floordrobe' as despite the extra room there was still no wardrobe! Also it was obvious that some of the harder to clean places in the room hadn't been! At night it was pretty noisy due to the nightlife and it might be worth taking some earplugs with you.

But all in all we thought it was great and we were very glad we chose it!

Room Tip: If you can afford an upgrade it's worth doing that in advance as you might be lucky like we were and end up in a suite!
