The location is pretty good- close enough to the metro station, and bus stop next to the entrance. Also the explanation sent in e-mail is dummies-safe , made it impossible not to find the hostel.
Hostel has wide common areas, you can also get some beer and just chill there. Wifi is strong enough all over the place.
One of the coolest bunk-beds I have seen so far in my hostel experience- gives you more privacy then the regular ones. Rooms are more like halls separated with curtain, but quiet enough for tired backpacker to fall asleep easily. I missed more light in the room, and thicker blanket.
The bathrooms were clean and tidy.
The reception guy- Jonathan is very friendly. He explained me where is what according to my wishes. He also rescued me from forever-alone traveling for a day, and showed me some good parts of Singapore.
The other reception guys is kind and helpful as well. Saved me from soaking in the rain with his suggestion to take the bus to harbor instead of walking to metro.
Overall for the price, this is a very good offer for budget travelers.

The communal area is large which encourages the guest to interact, good if you are new to the city and travelling on your own.

The facilities: Clean with plenty of showers and toilets, computers, wifi, book exchange, basic breakfast, and loads of seating both indoors and outside. You can buy cheap drinks from the fridge in the communal area, in fact some of the cheapest beer i found in the city. There was also a room downstairs with a TV and XBOX with plenty of games.

Acitivites: Singapore is packed full of stuff to do and you'll find loads of information in the communal area. Whilst few of the staff spoke much English, Jonathan was very fluent and able to book activities around the city, several of these include a discount for staying at the hostel.

Transport: The Lavender MRT satation is just a short walk away, approximately 5-10 mintues making it east to get around the city.

Food: There is a food market located just around the corner selling a wide variety of delicious food at incredibly cheap prices.

If you like playing pool there is also a pool bar less than five minutes around the corner. Just be warned the locals are very good, so make sure you are on form.

The cost was cheap for Singapore, but then you are staying in a cubical which is an interesting experience in itself and one that should be tried at least once. Probably the thing that you might find most unusual is that the cubicles have blinds for doors however for an almost insignificant cost you can hire a one of the lockers below your bed.

There are a lot of people sleeping in a relatively small space, but everyone is very considerate so noise is kept to a minimum. However there's always the chance that someone could be noisy and disturb others.

Not sure I could have stayed here more than two or three nights, but for a short period of time this place is great.

I stayed at here twice once for three nights at the beginning of my trip in October and again in December after having tried a few other hostels on the same road. The others were ok, but this had the best combination of cost, convenience comfort and companionship, which is why I returned.

Room Tip: Ask for a bottom bunk if you want to make it easy to get into bed.

Whilst sharing a dorm and bathroom is never brilliant this was a pretty good option - and much more affordable than other hotels.

The capsule beds are a good idea and you do get quite a good amount of privacy. They are big enough and the room was quite all night - although it does get cold and the blanket they provide is not much use.

The bathrooms and showers were decent and generally clean.

The main downside is there is very little space for storing bags.

The wifi was good and breakfast was enough to get you going. The location is very handy for the metro and walking distance to good food places and buses to Malaysia.

A good budget option for a couple of days exploring the city.

The hostel is in general ok. The staff is not the kindiest.. But for a big city it is standable.

The hostel is close to the metro which is good.

The rooms arent rooms... Its some sort of open space with the beds embed on the wall like open boxes. Its funny to see but maybe not very nice to sleep..

First dormitory experience and not going to lie we were a little hesitant. However, directions given to us were very helpful and we were greeted by a very friendly guy when we arrived. I had previously been in contact via email as I had to get my parents to forward some medication to the hostel that I had forgotten. They were great in communicating via email for me to arrange this whichw as really helpful and a weight off my mind.

There was a area with sofas, tables music tv and computers for everyone to use, as well as a help yourself breakfast deal which was great. Pretty sociable but also if you want to keep yourself to yourself you can. Internet connection was good, bathrooms clean and generally the whole operation just ran really smoothly. We just wanted a place to kip, so provided everything we needed, although the air con in the room was ridiculously chilly. About a ten minute walk between two tube stations so pretty easy to get around the city and get the train to the airport etc.

I would stay again if was in Singapore.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Easy to get to from airport and staff friendly especially as our arrival time was so early in the morning! We were upgraded to 'pods' really pleased about this as they offered privacy and a novel sleeping experience! Free breakfast simple but great and so many cheap eats on the doorstop if wanted! Staff very helpful I booking trips and buses away from Singapore, just remember cash only. The swimming pool a 2 minute walk is great too and only 1SGD each, bargain!!
