Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my husband. The double room was comfortable, clean and roomy. The bed sheets are clean and crisp. The bathroom is quite spacious and it is clean. Fabulous L'occitane soap and shampoo, as well as bathrobes are provided! Had the buffet breakfast at the hotel. There is a good selection of cold and hot food. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. Location is not too bad. There is a mall nearby and the nearest MRT stop is about a 10 minute walk away. You can easily get a cab from the hotel or even from the mall nearby too. Would definitely stay in this hotel again when we are back in Singapore!

Stayed for 3 days. Superb hotel. Bedrooms and bathrooms great. Restaurant wonderful. In particular the hotel architecture is fantastic. The atrium creates a light airy space. All rooms look out across thsi space. Its also only 10 minutes walk from Orchard Road

The location of the hotel is the USP, being close to Orchard road. So it is close to most popular places. The service is good, the food is pretty good and overall, it is a pleasant experience.

Located at the top end of Orchard Road, about 3 blocks back, an easy walk. It is also just behind Tanglin Mall, walking distance to Gleneagles Hospital. Had a club room, very spacious and comfortable. L’Occitane products in the bathroom. Club lounge is very good, excellent staff and service. Breakfast very good. Evening snacks and drinks were great. Staff always greeted me by name, and enquired after my husband who was in hospital at the time. After his discharge, one of the girls remembered it was his birthday and organised a small birthday cake for him. It was a lovely touch and to me, an outstanding example of customer service from such a large hotel. Free WiFi in the club lounge but not in the club rooms. A lot of hotels do this and I just don’t get it. Only disappointment was a room service pizza which was unequivocally the worst pizza I have ever had.

Fantastic service. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a Suite free of charge because we looked tired after our flight. The room was superior. Very clean, air con was quiet and room was spotless. The staff were so friendly and were more than happy to help us around the place.
Breakfast was more than 5 star with quality food.
I would difinately recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Loved this hotel - it was good, old fashioned Singapore comfort and courtesy. Staff were extremely helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The famous L'Occident toiletries were great. The slight negative I had was there was some noise was from the next door room when the occupants had late check in. Wifi was not included in the room cost on my stopover deal. However, I had a great three days. Will definitely use this as my stop-over hotel in future.

Our stay at the Regent Singapore was a delight from the moment we arrived at check-in. We were booked for 4N//5D and the Front Desk representative was friendly, efficient, and cheerful. She immediately offered a late check-out, as soon as she found out we had an early evening return flight.

The hotel is old but very well kept. At least, the bedrooms were renovated to a more current style and was furnished with a 40" sony bravia. The bed is large and very comfortable complete with down pillows & covers. The bathroom was quite small and dated. The location of the toilet paper was a little incovenient. but I absolutely loved the complimentary L'Occitane toiletries! It was a little strange not finding any comp toothbrush, paste, and razors. But we didn't mind as we always brought our own.

Housekeeping was a pleasant and welcome surprise with a daily cleaning and turning down of our bed. We even had a fresh change of towels everyday. In the past, other hotels would limit this every other day or if you request it.

The fitness center is located in the 2/F and is a wee bit tiny. Trainers are friendly and once you register, they give you a towel, earphones for the tv, and direct you to the beverage station where you can help yourself with complimentary chilled powerdrinks, coffee/tea, and a water station.

Breakfast was excellent! We were courteously greeted every morning with a relaxing smile, even if the restaurant was teeming with people. Upon seating, we were given a choice of our own pot of coffee or tea and offered orange juice to start. The breakfast spread was large and had a variety of Asian & Western dishes. The cold station was located in the center serving an assortment of juices, milk, fruits in season, salads, cheese, and breakfast cereals. The bread station offered varied types of bread with different types of spreads (butter, margarine, cheeses), cold cuts, and hot pancakes/French toast and the like. The cooking stations had a daily ham carving & sausages. Eggs cooked were cooked to order in any style you want; as well, as the noodle soups were finished to order. Regular breakfast fare were 3 kinds of dimsum, daily change of breakfast potatoes, beans, breakfast sausages, miso soup, congee, daily change of delicious Peranakan dishes, etc. There were also a few regular Japanese dishes spread on the table. The dining staff was very professional and efficient--quickly clearing plates, re-setting, and always wearing a smile. They were friendly without being overly familiar.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday with a wonderful lunch over at Iggy's. The 4-course lunch was superb and service was impeccable. You feel very special when dining in close quarters enough to feel a strange intimacy with those around you, yet still feel private. Despite it's fine dining service, smart casual is an acceptable attire. Next time I go back to Iggy's, I'll make sure to try their 9-course dinner.

The Regent is a short walk to Orchard Road but my husband and I chose to take a taxi whenever we left the hotel. The doorman is very helpful, cheerful, and quite funny. Tips are frowned upon in Singapore and is considered an insult. If there was a time I'd generously tip hotel staff, it would be in this hotel. Guest relations and service were excellent! Concierge was very helpful providing maps, schedules of church services, and suggestions on what was the best way to go around. We were even warned of "unusual crowds" in certain areas, due to the National Day rehearsals. When we asked when National Day was, she beamed and politely answered that it was a whole month away.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay! Thank you.
