Wow- what can I say ! Fantastic view, great room, beautiful bed linen !

Service is as to be expected from Mandarin Oriental (good albeit perhaps a little static)

Was here for work and definitely the correct choice

Room Tip: higher floor

We couldn't fault this hotel - it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were fantastic and made sure that our stay was wonderful. The hotel is walking distance to a lot of attractions and places to eat. The pool area is very relaxing, with plenty of cabana's to relax in and listen to music. We had a City Suite which was huge. I would highly recommend this hotel.

2013 National Day stay at MO, got a 'small problem' with the hotel toilet.
The management was fast to reply and promise an upgrade to suite if we return again.

Usually the "Super Holiday" date, the premium room or suite will be 2x or 3x more expensive, and will be full house. Was wonder will they still remember their promise after 365days.

2014 National Day, last time it was organise at Floating platform, so we decide to go back to MO for celebration. Surprise they still can track our last stay and keep the Promise upgrade us to suite, despite it will be a loss profit business for them.

Thank to Mr Sumit Bhardwaj, just base on e-mail communication , he settle all the items that had promise 1year ago for us. From the early check in, late check out next day 6pm, the free carpark ticket, extra bed etc.

Check in is smooth, just take 3mins, and we got our card key, and we are given the highest floor - 21st.
The children got a great time playing at the pool, while the lady enjoy the shopping at the marina square. It quite a nice view at the swimming pool too.
Family and Friends watching the grand NDP show at evening time and taken a lot of amazing firework photo.
The location is good as you can walk to MBS, Merlion Park, Financial centre, or even go Garden by the Bay.

Overall, a happy celebration, and most important, Mandarin Oriental keep the promise, that what a great Hotel is all About. Thank to the the MO staff at counter, pool, room service and those take care of our car, you're do a great job!

Room Tip: Choose Harbour view. Get a suite if you can afford, especially if you travel with a family of more...

My wife and I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental on a recent stay in Singapore. It was an excellent choice and we had a room with a harbour view. We had a great view of the harbour lights at night, and of the preparations for the Singapore National Day Parade. The reception and concierge staff provided excellent service, and they went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met. Their efficient and polite service was appreciated, particularly in organising an evening tour and re-checking our airport transfer. The main detraction was the lack of a free wifi service in the rooms.
The hotel is a great place to take in some of Singapore's key attractions with the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay (to name a few) being within walking distance. The hotel is conveniently located to the Marina Square Shopping Mall. There is plenty to see and do in this part of the city.
Thanks for your vote if you found this review helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a harbour view and honeymoon package.

I stayed for three days 2weeks ago. Too many people to handle at breakfast reataurant, melt.
Staffs's attitude is not enough , at least five star hotel.
Food? I was very disappointed and very confused who ,why, said good mandarin oriental's food?
very normal when day3, day 1 and 2? terrible.
I've stayed at Ritz Calton ,Intercontinental, conred,Shangrila in singapore.
Belive me. Madarin oriental is the worst one.
Especially, over price than their poor service...
I strongly recomand, do not go to mandarin oriental.

Room Tip: suit room is not included free wifi. hahaha. do'nt go.

Stayed here for the national day holiday and paid an arm and a leg for a suite

Check-in time is officially 3pm but I arrived at 2pm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. No luck, room not ready. There's also no special line or person attending to you if you pay for a suite, you queue up like everyone else. Further, the treatment is pretty cold and clinical. Asked if there was breakfast in the rate, monosyllabic "No". Asked if I had club lounge access, another monosyllabic "no". This staff is clearly not trained to meet service expectations nor upsell. I returned at 315pm, guess what, still not ready. At 330pm feeling really bored already, I asked again, and this time, a more competent front desk staff offered lunch at their restaurant while waiting. As 330pm is not the time for food, we asked for coffee instead. And Melt is not exactly a nice place to be at 330pm, the staff are vacuuming and getting the place ready for dinner. Again pretty spotty service and only 1 Melt staff stood out for her service and she took the initiative to ask how I was and delivered dessert though I didn't want any

Finally at 415pm the suite is ready and quite surprised to see that it's on the lowest room floor at floor 6. But what a great view of the marina bay, for what it's worth. The suite itself is medium sized, and looks old but well maintained. How old is it? So old that their iPod player still have the old generation jacks and your new iPods and iPhone 5 would not be able to play on it

The mooncake festival is coming and all hotels have mooncake booths and MO is no different. Went to it and saw a bored looking staff playing with his phone. Stood there for a good 30 seconds before I called him and he raised his head. Asked if there was a special deal for hotel guests, another monosyllabic "no" and not much else, not even a smile or attempt to sell something. Obviously I decided to walk all the way to the pan pacific hotel to get my mooncakes instead

Didn't get the chance to try out their restaurants, gym or pool

Overall my personal experience at this hotel is simply not as good as some here. It's really a 3.5 and should not be a top 10 hotel here, there are way better ones. I simply heard too many "no's" in this hotel

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter.Took a club floor room which had a great view on the Marina.
Room in its self is nothing special.A standard five star hotel room.Amneties are average.
The plus point for me is the staff. From the doorman to the club lounge they were all smiling, friendly and helpful.
We ate at the Chinese restaurant which was excellent.
Also enjoyed a burger at the bar.The burger was delicious. The only negatives were the tall guy with a ponytail .I guess he is the manager. No hello or goodbye.Just an un professionnal attitude.
Will be back because I love the view........

Room Tip: Take a room with a bay or ocean view...
