Last Friday (22nd Sep), I arrived earlier than my reservation timing however Dharwin and the manager of that shift were flexible and allowed me to enter the buffet area beforehand to decide if the inhouse desserts were suitable for a small birthday surprise. After, they set aside the cake for me and informed the rest of the staff to bring the cake when signalled. The Friday night staff collaborated well with each other and were quick to clear and replaced new cutlery when needed. It's comforting to know that first-time visitors to Singapore will have a pleasant dining experience here.

Staying from 17th September to 2nd October, 2017. Nice hotel amenities and courteous staff. Lots of guests which clearly shows that many people like this. Good breakfast. Separate indian cuisine. Nice indian chefs, though rotating. They are giving you a phone which has internet and outgoing call free local and to some selected international countires, not sure why there is no incoming calls at all? You can contact Jhoana, there, very helpful. Worth staying definitely for sure ...

For a five star hotel there is lots of room for improvements

1. We ordered online through special flexible online special. (Free room upgrade, late checkout, free breakfast, upgrade club lounge)
The hotel didn't automatically upgrade us we had to prompt them by phone for this to occur.

2. Luggage takes 1.5 hours to arrive.
3. Handy phone was flat and not working when we arrived to our room.

4. The check in club staff are amazing a truly credit to the hotel. Thank you Krystal and Shirley for your remarkable customer experience (if it wasn't for these two my rating would be lower)

5. Downstairs staff in counter and room service/bell boy very rude. Not say hello or smile when addressing you. (It costs nothing to be nice)

6. Very loud banging/vibrating noises in room late at night maybe 3-4 am sounds like air falling down riser.

7. Housekeeping staff don't clean all rubbish and make sure everything is tidy.

Overall I give the 3 star rating but only for club staff. For the rest of the hotel overall I give 2 stars. I really think your organisation needs to have a customer experience training on how to be pleasant to customers (asking hi how are you? Please and thank you, smiling etc)

I most likely wouldn't stay here again.

We planned a staycation for my birthday celebration and was totally blown away by the excellent service Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel provided ! From the reservation arranged by Eric Koh, Director of Housekeeping to the Reservation team, it was seamless and very service-oriented. When we arrived, the non-smoking room was already pre-arranged with the extra beds we asked for & we had such a huge fruit platter that totally surprised all of us ! The hotel also gave us a box of macaroons to sweeten the stay plus other surprises for the kids which was least expected ! To top up, we asked for a down-feather topper and it truly enhances our sleep and stay on the already very comfortable king-size bed. Eric was also thoughtful to ask his colleague Colin Yu to check in with us, which the latter was very kind to extend late check-out for us. Club Room which we book was extremely spacious with a huge and grand bathroom. Food was great with a very nice pool suited for families. This is indeed our best staycation we ever had because the team of staff in Copthorne truly makes you feel so distinguished. Will highly recommend to all, especially families

Room tip: Can request for a high-floor with Bay view where you can see the Singapore Flyer.

Quality and selection of food was amazing. Really had a good time dinning with my friends awhile back. The service staff were very attentive as well.

Everything was just on point to create that amazing experience for me and my friends.

Will definitely be back!.
