“Amazing world class property in Singapore”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

My wife and I stayed at this property at one of the top floors in a beautiful corner suite facing the bay. Our bathtub faced the Singapore Flyer and the room/suite itself was actually breathtaking. I found myself sitting on the comfortable seating area, looking out at the panoramic view of Singapore for long periods of time. At night, the Bay lit up and transformed, and we would go up to the Club Lounge to have a (complimentary) glass or two of champagne and some snacks.

Service was amazing, from the limo driver, to the club concierge and our host Wen Xian who was waiting for us when arrived, to the other numerous Gentlemen at the property. They completely made us feel at home, gave us great recommendations regarding Singapore and gave us a wonderful stay overall. Having stayed at many high-end properties before, I can honestly say that this one ranks near the top of the list.

Thank you Ritz Carlton, we will be back!

My husband and I decided to spend the weekend at The Ritz-Carlton, Millennia to celebrate our anniversary. I had purchased an offer by the Marriott Vacation Club for a 2 night stay previously.

Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door immediately, and briefed on the hotel and its facilities (namely the restaurants). The young hostess brought us to the reception for checking in purposes. Attended to by a friendly and warm host at reception.

My husband was taken ill during our trip and the staff ensured privacy throughout and offered assistance in calling for medical attention. We appreciated their concern and help.

Food was top class as was the service, down to the car valets who were prompt each time we called for our car.

One small issue to raise - I suppose because our stay was a special offer, we didn't have a say in choice of room. Therefore we were allotted a room facing the highway. No complaints about noise, but being at the end of the hotel, our bed was perpendicular to the TV. It was quite uncomfortable to watch from the bed, given the awkward position.

All in all, I give this hotel two thumbs up. No complaints whatsoever. Checking out was a breeze.

Room Tip: Choose rooms facing the marina as the highway view is not a view at all!

This hotel was the icing on the cake for our 2 months away. The attention given to you by all the staff is special in itself, absolutely faultless. We had a room on the 17th floor. The view was so spectacular from the bedroom and bathroom, you didn't want to go outside, just stay and soak it all in. Seeing is believing. Downstairs is a fully equipped gym. The shower/changing rooms are something to be seen to be believed. This is a place where you can be spoilt silly.

Our sty at the Ritz was memorable and fitting for the occasion. I brought my girl on my business trip because she turns 7 on my departure day. Thus, decided to book a good hotel to celebrate her 7th. Likewise, my best friend with me on my trip was also celebrating her birthday a week after. Thus It was a double celebration. I informed the hotel and they happily upgraded us to a suite room. Despite some confusion in our reservations (long story) we got our rooms with terrific view of the river and all the attractions there is in front of us. Much more, the weekend was a preparatory event & drills for the up and coming national day thus we had a great show in front of us without going anywhere. My daughter totally enjoyed the spectacular view and show of the drama, jets and sky divers, fireworks & light shows, etc while enjoying dinner from room service. The hotel also gave her a birthday cake and a card on the house. We had a great stay with the amazing view of the river. What made it more fun was the weekend of preparation and drills for the coming National day in August. Thus we had a free and early show of what is to come next week for the National Day. With that we decided to order room service and enjoy the show in our suite! what a wonderful surprise. My girl was totally entertained and she was so happy commenting it was the best birthday ever! Though the hotel is grand and beautiful, with superb staff, including the door man... !!!.... food was not great. Thats the only downside. I hope they improve on it. The hotel is connected to the Millennia walk and Marina Square, all are shopping complexes with everything you need. From there it connects to other parts nearby and also the MRT station. It is a huge complex of hotels and malls linked together with an underground mtr that makes it so convenient. From the front, taxi is easily available, the singapore flyer is just a 5 mins walk away. Marina bay sands is just across 10 mins by foot. In general, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location, great staff, great service, beautiful and large rooms with a nice river view if you book the rooms on the Marina bay view side. Security is excellent as well. Room keys are necessary to be able to make the lifts work. Thanks to the staff, Anita from the front desk, Clara from the customer support, Habsah from the reservations office. My daughter said that it was a very memorable birthday stay at the Ritz! Definitely recommendable!

Room Tip: river view rooms are the best!

The staff escorted me from arrival to the Front Desk it was quick smooth check in. Then up to my room on the 17th floor the room has to be one of the largest in Singapore. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very large and clean. Pool was nice and very clean as well.
Breakfast was a big beautiful display of International Cuisines.

Departure was very quick and easy. All the staff we encountered were very nice and smiling.

Worth the price. Stayed 2 days. Checkin and checkout were courteous and swift. Everything was fine in the room. Enough snacks and drinks in the Lounge, atmosphere relaxed. Most of the staff were well polished although there was one in the Lounge who wasn't of the same overall standard.
