“Pleasant business hotel with the worlds most powerful shower”
Reviewed 13 January 2014 via mobile

very helpful staff and convenient location for business travel. The rooms were surprisingly (for a Ritz) well furbished and the rooms were very spacious. My pet peeve of these properties not having a plug on the bedside still exists...why oh why don't hotels figure this out!

Free internet and a shower that was so powerful it could tear your skin off, all made for a very nice stay. The swimming pool was a good size although they probably need to replace the numerous tiles that have come off the bottom and the gym was dated but functional with a decent amount of gear.

Certainly will consider coming back

he location was absolutely beautiful, with the rooms over looking the Marina and a colored light display at night on the water. The rooms were state of the art and gorgeous. The service was over the top.It was also close to the Port. You won't be disappointed at this one. It lives up to the the Ritz' great name.

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Singapore prior to boarding the Regent's Seven Seas Cruise "The Voyager." Our travel agent booked the reservation and as a "Virtuoso" agent, typically negotiates upgrades or free breakfasts or some other perk. We had adjoining rooms because we had our boys, which allowed you to close a master front (Double) door and create a foyer, and then leave the individual doors open. The location was absolutely beautiful, with the rooms over looking the Marina and a colored light display at night on the water. The rooms were state of the art and gorgeous. The service was over the top. They honored all upgrades and free breakfasts, and the exchange rate was favorable for the US Dollar. It was also close to the Port. You won't be disappointed at this one. It lives up to the the Ritz' great name.

Room Tip: Request Marina view

A hotel fitting of Singapore! Firstly, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive but without getting in your way. Large, superlative and comfortable rooms. Very good dining outlets and an excellent gym and spa. The gym is one of the better hotel gyms I have come across. Expensive, but worth it.

I chose this hotel for the name and stayed 7 days through New Years 2013-14. By far, the hotel is gorgeous and the amenities are fantastic! Over the top décor and exceptional views. We were on the 30th floor in a Club level one bedroom suit, and what a place to watch the fireworks from. With this all said the service was sub-par. Maybe it was due to the holiday, however many of the reviews that rate the service, I tend to agree with. The Club lounge was very behind on many things, clearing tables, getting tables re-set, and just having the basics that you needed when getting food were an impossible feat, ketchup, Ice, napkins and silverware. It was just a hassle. Further, the concierge in general (the club one was alright) but no one who worked there knew what was going on. Things the would give you to do and see were limited in scope and for them to book anything for you was impossible as well, it was just easier to wing it and do it yourself and hope all went well. For the most part the concierge was entirely clueless about the area. There is also a problem with the people at the front knowing what was what, specifically about parking. If you are staying as a guest you are able to park yourself for free but you have to get a complementary ticket from the concierge every time to be able to leave through a gate for free or it's 15 Sing-dollars Per night for valet, however on more then one occasion the people at the front said there was no valet, obviously untrue. Room service was great and on point and if you called for things, it was overall very quick. I did not eat in any of the restaurants in the hotel however the room service food was AMAZING. It was pricy, but not surprising considering the caliber of food and the venue.
Last but not least the spa, I had a facial and it was very good but it is very odd how the area is setup and sorta uncomfortable. You would think there was a waiting room to sit in and read a magazine and have tea or something, but there wasn't! Your only options were a steam room or sauna or awkwardly sit in the locker room where everyone was changing, while in a robe and looking like a fool. It was very uncomfortable.
The photos added are from New Years, so unsure how the view differs throughout the year, but the lights were spectacular and looked amazing nightly throughout our stay.

Room Tip: High floors are great and facing the marina, elevators are fast and there are 6 so never waited more...

As soon as you enter this grand property you know you have arrived. There are staff waiting to check you in, usher you to your room and ensure your every need is met. The sumptuous buffet within the hotel is fantastic and more than adequate for those who enjoy buffet. The gym is high tech and very well equipped. The pool is comfortable and clean. The location is great- it is about a 8min walk from the Marina Bay Sands complex. Very convenient. You will often see the hotel manager, Christian, clearing plates in the buffet restaurant at breakfast or setting up the function room for a wedding when you walk past to the gym. I spoke to him many times, he always made time for me and always answered my questions about what restaurants to eat at. He gave very good suggestions every time. I havn't experienced 5 star service like this in Asia for a long time.

Room Tip: Corner suites are very luxe. The bathrooms and bedrooms are large and the baths within the suites ar...
