This hotel is everything other Trip advisor reviews said it was.

Fantastic location, spacious and clean room, friendly and helpful staff and wonderful harbourside view from our rooms.

Stayed at the Pan Pacific for one night on our way to Darwin - but the night was really comfy and the hotel simply has a great location. We were there just a few days before the F1 race which literally goes through the reception area. Our room had great views over the city and was located in 16th floor. The hotel service is impeccable, rooms are clean and spacious. Great value for money with the special offers they had going and it is just 15 minutes to the airport.

We spent 3 days at the Pan Pacific at the start of our honeymoon in a Panoramic Room on the 30th floor. View over the city was spectacular, particularly at night (see photo). Good size room with all facilities you would expect from this class of hotel. Clean with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was included in our package and this provided a good selection of food. We also ate in the restaurant on the 37th floor and this was superb.
Overall the experience was very good although the food/drinks tend to be pretty expensive in the hotel and generally around the City.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others

As most of the reviewers, I picked this hotel due to the Trip Advisor reviews and the perception I had from Pan Pacific Vancouver.

The hotel is well located and the rooms are a decent size. Unfortunately we seemed to have had a number of misfortunes:
1. Booked the hotel limo from the airport to take our family to the hotel (2 adults + 2 young children). We were missed when we got off the plane and went to the limo after which they paged the staff member - could happen, so no problems.
2. Arrived at the hotel and was treated very well by Cai Ling - no issues with service there. We were also given the room several hours prior to official check-in. Only problem was that the room was for 4 people but we only had 3 towels and 1 bar of soap. We called for more towels and they came with more towels after some time. We also asked for some small plates and got large ones - could happen so no problems.
3. Buffet breakfast was not a pleasant experience. On day one, we arrived late at around 1030. Breakfast technically ends at 1100am. As we were in the midst of eating, the staff was busily rearranging the furniture around us for lunch. Very unpleasant from a customer service perspective. My espresso was actually served as a half cup of regular coffee but ok... On day 2, we also arrived late at around 1040. Clearly they already started cleaning up. Orange Juice was "finished" and by 1050, the food was basically out of bounds. I brought this up to the restaurant manager who was apologetic and basically said they were overwhelmed due to a conference next door at the conference centre. I suggested that if they wanted to get everyone out by 11am, then breakfast should technically end earlier - say 1030.
4. After breakfast we left the room at around 1 pm and returned at about 7 pm. To our horror the room had not been cleaned. In 20 years of traveling this had never happened to me. I raised this with the hotel manager directly and he was very apologetic promising to look into the issue which I'm sure he did as we received an extension to our check out and several follow-ups after I filled in the customer survey with less than the highest ratings.
5. Quality of the room cleaning was very much average. Room was not cleaned thoroughly and as for the bathroom we gave up on 4 towels... Every day the cleaning staff would only replace the 4 towels with 3.

After much reflections, we realised that actual issue is that the staff was not fluent in English. In all likelihood, we had a communication problem.

Unfortunately for the Pan Pacific, we had just arrived from the Mandarin Oriental in KUL which was several notches better in all respects. Service in KUL was fantastic and the staff in all areas spoke perfect English. They also called us by name at every turn whereas the Pan Pacific was hit and miss and they didn't realise that they kept addressing me by my wife's name.

I'm sorry to say that my experience was not great for an Asian chain.

This high story building is perfectly situated inbetween walking distance of many shopping centres and close to a tube station. A great hot breakfast buffet, rooms like a football field and very friendly staff... definitively a travel worth!!!

I've been a regular annual visitor to Singapore since 1987, and have sampled the luxurious delights of many terrific hotels, but our recent 10-day sojourn at the Pan Pacific was simply exceptional.
Why? In a word: SERVICE!
In a city where seamless service is the handmaiden to one of Singapore's most important industries, ie. tourism, the meticulous attention to detail as proffered by the Pan Pacific was flawless. I'd like to compliment Su and her Guest Services team for effectively organising disabled facilities for my mother, as well as kudos to all the hotel staff whose courteous efficiency was greatly appreciated.
I look forward to our next stay at this wonderful hotel!

Arrived in Singapore after 10 days on a basic Malaysian island and found it a real joy. We were travelling with a 13 month old and all staff were very helpful and knowledgable when it came to getting in/out of taxis with a pushchair.

The bed was so comfortable and even baby toiletries were provided.

The buffet breakfast was marvellous and my son was even given his own Thomas tray.

The drinks in the bar were expensive but, hey, we were in a 5 star hotel in Singapore-would they be anything else?!
