Visited for 3 nights and upgraded to executive lounge. Check-in for lounge guests were on the 33rd (top floor) that was very easy and quick.

Room 2518 was spacious with a nice bathroom. The view from the room looked over part of the harbour. The only fault was the cold water tap did not work in the bathtub that resulted in a scalding hot bath. As soon as we mentioned this to the lounge staff, they fixed it immediately.

The lounge has great views of the whole city. Breakfast was quiet with a good choice of hot and cold food. Afternoon tea was also served as well as cocktails and snacks in the evening. The lounge was open to 10.45pm with alcoholic drinks available.

Overall, we would recommend this hotel and the upgrade to the lounge. A slight disappointment was when we requested a continental breakfast the morning of an early departure (6am), unfortunately this was forgotten which resulted in waiting for 20 mins. This is not ideal when heading for a flight.

I like to stay at Conrad Hotels and this one is great. It is well located and the staff is generally friendly and accommodating. There is a slight snobbishness to the hotel that is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. They aren't very welcoming to kids-preferring business travelers. Once there, and with a little cajoling, they were great, though and did the right thing. The breakfast was very good-not as good as Hong Kong or Bangkok but very good. The area is full of restaurants so you will never go hungry.
The kids enjoyed the pool. The executive lounge has a long stretch of evening cocktails if you like to drink but again if you have kids you are shuffled off to a side room. They do try to accommodate, though, and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful.
I suspect that if I go back and know my way around better, I will give it 5 stars.

I stayed here last summer and that time was excellent, this time there were a few things amiss and with experience of hotels across last few months, the Conrad is showing a few gaps here and there.

Good points; room was a good size, it was clean, bed was very comfortable, nice bar, nice breakfast. Awesome view and staff are friendly, with good intentions. Gym is solid.

Check in was a little slow, there seems to be the capacity for 6 counters for staff to be at, there were a maximum of 3 for my check-in and 4 for my check out. Checking out took around 15 minutes from joining the queue to getting my receipt. Now many hotels will let a queue build at check in and I have had far worse at a Hilton (Gatwick Airport for one stands out as having not a care in the world how long the queue gets).

The location is good, but a little out of the way (relatively speaking) compared to the Swissotel as it is a walk to the MRT, about 10 minutes through the malls to City Hall for the lines to the CBD - enough to get hot in a suit. The hotels does run free shuttles at 8am and 8:30am with the Business Room package.

I was in a Business Room for a 6 night stay at SGD $380 plus service, plus GST on a corporate code:
Wifi included - worth about SGD$140 for the week
Daily laundry credit - SGD$20
Free breakfast on 4th floor - now this was great, excellent service and quiet
3pm check out

After asking I got a room with a view of Marina Bay - the best view, which is great to have.

Air-con system is really noisy, even on lowest setting, so you need ear plugs to sleep. Not a problem as carry them for this reason. First morning it took me 8 minutes to wake up to the alarm :)

Compared to the Swissotel, the lifts seem to be stretched for capacity, you can wait 2 or 3 minutes in the morning.

The room came with 'departure lounge' benefit - this lounge is actually the breakfast area on the 4th floor. When the time came to use it, it was closed for a private function and no one had let front of house know. They fixed it by giving me access to the Exec. lounge, yet advertising this as a benefit of the room which can be taken away for any private function is naughty.

These are relatively small things, but with no ability on TripAdvisior to give a score of 4.5, a score of 4 it has to be. There are a slew of quality hotels in the same area and Conrad needs to up the game.

Room Tip: Ask for one facing Marina Bay for a great view. Go as high as you can.

This is a fabulous hotel. You must definitely try the breakfast at Oscars. It's the best buffet spread I've ever had. The location was also very convenient for the hop on hop off bus that takes you all over Singapore. I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Definitely get the breakfast buffet at Oscars!

If you want flash new building, this is not the place for you, but if you want unbeatable service, few other places can match.
Last time we stayed here was over 4 years ago, and as other reviewers noticed, the place is well overdue for refurbishing. However, what they are lack of, is more than compensated by the service and attention to details the staff consistently show. This was a birthday trip for our daughter and she got a surprise birthday cake in the room, complete with candle :).
We had a suite on level 18, with access to the club lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktail.
Service, food and drink at club lounge were excellent. So, good value for the rate we paid and highly recommend it.
We chose to have breakfast at Oscar's for wider variety. Unfortunately, variety is the only thing we can recommend it for. So, next time if you have access to club lounge, use it.
Would we stay here again? Definitely!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Conrad. In all, they'd thought through a lot to make the stay memorable.

Finsl touches like having a welcome bear and rubber ducky gives it a home touch.

I thought the room was ok. I do realise that your room choice depends on how many nights you stay. I'd extended from 1 to 5 nights, and was only given a king sized bed with harbour view. Otherwise, their response was sir, we're booked out. Not sure how to respond here.

Buffet breakfast was so so only. I felt that the only standout was the fresh orange juice sent to your table.

There is also a lounge available for late check outs. Shower and snacks available too.

Dear mozii,

It is a pleasure to learn that your recent five nights with us was a memorable experience. Thank you very much for your positive feedback on our service, guest room and the little touches like our signature Teddy and Rubber Ducky, which highlighted your stay.

During the month of April, the hotel was indeed fully occupied due to the FoodHotelAsia 2014 Exhibition but we are nevertheless glad that you were comfortable with us. We look forward to having you with us again, should you return to Singapore in the near future.

Yours sincerely,
Mark Meaney
