Service not so great. Could get a better rated hotel for the price you pay. The room is too congested. Breakfast is okay, both western and local dishes served. Not maintained well, possibility of mice in the hotel.

I booked on the Hotels own website one TRIPLE ROOM for 2 nights.

The Hotel in my Opinion Does not have Triple Rooms, Only Double Rooms with a single cot type bed. A double bed and a cot does not justify advertising a triple room suitable for 3 Adults.
There was not enough room for 3 adults luggage, No desk or work table or Wardrobe just 2 small bedside table with cockroaches having a field day in and oput of the drawers.
The bathroom was very small, the shower hanging on the floor did not work so had to sit on the floor under the tap to wash. the toilet seat lifted off stuck to you so when you stood up and then fell to the floor and and you had to step over the toilet to get to the wash basin.

Next morning spied room 801 large room with 2 double beds and was told that was a Family room and not suitable for 3 Men. I told them we were Family.

I got to Breakfast and there was nothing left, the lady in front of me had just filled her 1 liter bottle with the last of the juice and the guy had before finished up all the watermelon, coffee had finished and there was no milk for cornflakes. Settle for a couple of hard boiled eggs and chicken nuggets. Then back to my room for a Protein shake to get me throuight the day.
Definitely not recommended.

We had booked 3 rooms for our stay in the hotel for 6 days. All rooms were untidy , we spotted cockroaches no one available for room service. Bedsheets were uncleaned and smelly .Breakfast is the same all days and poor quality smelly ambience . The ac not working majority of the time reason given by the hotel receptionist differ each time. Sanity we could rate 0 marks and would not at all recommend to anyone .Claremont hotel was a bad flavour of our memories of Singapore.

Room Tip: Please would strongly not recommend any booking for Claremont Singapore .

I only read reviews for the hotel a few days before our flight to Singapore and I was horrified with what I read online and was really hesitant about going given I have a one-year-old in tow. Commuting to the place via the MRT was easy enough (go down Farrer Park Station and it's just a minute's walk from Exit A). General accessibility was very good. It fronts the 24-hour Mustafa Center, which sells the cheapest chocolates. It is also close to City Square Mall and Sarangoon Plaza.

The reception at the hotel could improve, but the guy who was there the next day was definitely better. The elevator was also tiny, but functional. Only one set of guests at a time.

We were on the 8th floor. The room was very small and didn't have a lot of amenities. As one of the reviewers said, its not as bad as people mentioned especially if you only need a good night's sleep. The sheets were clean. The towels, not so white but usable. They had shampoo and soap, but no tissue. No remote for the TV...which was a big flat screen tv. It only got reception for around 8 local channels, 6 of which were Indian channels and one movie channel. The best part is the free wifi which was pretty fast.

Breakfast was not really that good. They only had curry, boiled, chicken hotdog, rice and some sort of pudding. The funny part is, we got there a little before 10am (breakfast is from 7am to 10am). I got my food while my husband was settling the baby down. When he got up to get breakfast they removed all the food before he could get any. And he asked if he can still take a hotdog, and they just continued to remove everything. We just went out to get breakfast at McDonald's which was nearby.

Little India has a certain charm about it, if you're the adventurous type. The hotel is reflective of the culture of the area...it has its good parts and bad ones. If you can strike a balance between the two, you'd have a better appreciation of this budget hotel.

We don't recommend at all , better you pay the same on vallue hotel where we stay the day before.
