“Very basic and not worth for money”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

We stayed with family for 10 days share.. the room size was very small. Service was very bad. one good thing about this hotel is - very close to Indian restaurant and opposite to Mustafa center. very basic frontoffce support.

We have requested for change of room due to the smell in the room.. but due to the full occupancy, they were unable to help.

Mini Queen bed..

Room Tip: Best is mustafa center view.

Photos do not reflect what is actually a room. Sofa is for the rubbish heap and I am too scared to sit on it. Haven't even seen what they do for breakfast!
Broken window locks, dirty elevator, shabby, lobby. Room not vacuumed properly, beds rock hard. Don't come here. Ruined the trip.

Two best things abt this place - this is opp to Mustafa shopping center and Farrer Park MRT. Hotel is total nonsense no proper front desk, no water bottles, pathetic Air con, no cleaning and dirty place.

Room Tip: Rooms on front side is preferable with view to Parkroyal and mustafa

Located in happening & alive Little India and touching distance from Ferrer Park MRT Station and Mustafa are major positives for this no frills hotel.
Reception is BAD, hotel is under-staffed and thus service and ability to solve customer grievances is poor. However, Rooms are mediocre and can be said good from Singapore's perspective. Washroom was good, well sanitized..
Lots of eateries/restaurants, 24 hour mustafa around this hotel makes me give it's location an 8 on 10.
Worst part about this hotel was the breakfast. Hotel charged 10 Singapore dollars for the breakfast but it's not even worth a single penny.. Breakfast was organized at luggage room, and my of my it was very shabby..
All in all a 4 on 10 but from Singapore's perspective a 6 on 10.

Its a pure no frill hotel, dont expect any support and help from the hotel people.
Good part of the stay
- Was able to check in early by 12.10pm inspite of the time being 2pm
- Hotel is well connected to ferrer park MRT and there are lot of Indian hotels near by for good food.
- Hotel provides free wifi which was an added advantage

Bad part of the stay
- Hotel does not provide water for drinking and ask the guest to take the water from the bathroom for drinking
- They do provide breakfast but it is an average breakfast only, especially Indian food is cooked badly, better to have bread jam and butter
- The swipe card for the hotel room does not work properly. To open the room door have to swipe the card atleast 10-15 times.
- The room I got was infected with cockroaches and the cleaning staff provided me with a spray to kill them

Over All- If you want a budget hotel in a decent locality and you are ready to make few sacrifices then this is a perfect hotel.

Located in Little India opposite Mustafa's shopping mall and some good restaurants around but the property although being located in such a locality is disorganized. It is screaming to get a make over to the property in totality. Reception is pretty small which doesn't matter but the stink inside the lift pulls you down at first and the room are pretty spacious but very badly maintained. Spotted some cockroaches and it was so unhygienic. On the other hand there are no bell boys who can help you with your baggage to and from the room, it is like, help yourself motel. Staff, that's precisely one receptionist who is helpful only to receive your payments and check you out at the front desk and I do not consider this to be rated helpful.

We planned to stay for 3 nights but had to cut short our trip by a night and was delighted with the early decision else the trauma would have ended by another night and day. Breakfast was served complimentary at the basement and it was stuffy without any ventilation and the food though was average. I have travelled to Singapore couple of times and thought of staying in the hotel but do not have the same feeling any longer for any of the upcoming trips ever.

Room Tip: Not sure how I can suggest anyone to take this hotel itself.

for me honest the place located in best spot. the best shopping market of Singapore mustafa center is right opposite to this hotel. just a few yards and one turn to ferrer park mrt. lots of eateries, easy access to any locations would be plus for those who choose this hotel for staying. even the room cost is coming under our budget.
but there are more minus which i should suggest for the readers. the indian lady on the reception (day time) is so horrible. you might pay more if you like to see smile on her face. no room service at all. you have carry all your luggage from reception to room. breakfast menu is very poor. rated 2 stars only for the location.
