“An excellent way to learn about Singapore”

We did this a month ago, so apologies for the delayed review. This trail was brilliant. There is no other way to to describe it. If you only have time to done thing in Singapore, do this. There were only three of us on our tour so we had personal attention, but I'm sure it's the same with slightly larger groups. We had a variety of food in a variety of places with a running commentary en route. The only advice I would give is to go hungry and pace yourself - by the time we reached our last eating place we were so full we couldn't do it justice! If we are ever in Singapore again we will certainly take another trail!

“As the locals would say 'die, die must try'”

Singapore is a melting pots of different cultures and this trail is an excellent way to attempt to eat your way through some of the amazing food they offer.

Hawker centers can be overwhelming but are an essential part of the Singapore experience, so having local, knowledgable and fun hosts to guide you through every bite makes for a much more rewarding experience.

I'm getting hungry just thinking about it but one thing's for sure, you won't leave the trail feeling like that!

Quite simply if you love food, you're going to love this tour.

“Fantastic way to experience the food Singapore has to offer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 January 2014

We loved this tour. We do food tours almost every city we travel to as its a good introduction into the city and its food. This tour we exceptional. All the food was strange to us but extremely tasty! Both Zee and Eda were wonderful hosts and had done food tours themselves all over the world so was nice to listen to stories of different cultures and foods etc. Would recommend this to anyone!

“Wonderful introduction to Singapore's street food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2013

Zee and Eda are wonderful hosts who are happy to share their enthusiasm for Singapore's street food. The tour is the best possible way to get a good introduction to the main ethnic styles of food available and how to eat at food courts. I hope Zee and Eda continue to guide many more people.
P.S. Arrive hungry and don't eat too much at the first two locations!

“Great small-group local food experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

It seems like every time I hear about Singapore, the conversation quickly turns to food. So diving deep into the local food scene was a big priority for my wife and I during our visit. After reading the reviews, it sounded like "Singapore Food Trail" was what we were looking for.

This isn't a big, commercial tour - it is a small tour led by two locals who take 2-3 people around to sample some of Singapore's "famous" dishes at several of the smaller shops around town. We met up at the Lavender metro station and picked up by a personal vehicle. Our trail included four stops:
1. Chicken Murtabak at Zamzam.
2. Nyonya laksa at ... forget the place...
3. Putu Piring at Geylang Hawker Centre
4. Mango Juice Delight, Spring roll at Lavender Food Place.

The food, company and discussion of the local food scene was great. We found the experience to be both informative, and delicious.

I highly recommend this as a great small-group way to see, learn and eat your way around Singapore.
