“Good location and pricing, only too small”
Reviewed 28 February 2013

At first if you take cab to reach this hotel via Beach Rd, you may need to walk to the back side of the building, because the entrance is at the behind of the Steamboat Restaurant. It not that hard to recognize the entrance as they already put sign/ guide to reach it. The lobby is at 2nd floor by lift. ( The lift got 2-side door, front and back)
But if you try to reach by Bus or Train/ MRT, you need to drop at Bugis Station, then exit from BHG/Bugis Junction Shopping Mall before crossing to opposite heading to Beach Road. Only 10-15 minutes walking distance.
The staff were very helpful, Check-in process only take a minute, then he show us our room, which located on same floor, near the counter. He also gave us air-purifier if we think the room too humid, we can use by spray it.
As the room we booked was Standard room. Only got a queen size bed, Flat LCD TV, cupboard with hanger, and table as make-up desk. Bathroom with shower (hot & cold water) with toiletries and closet. The bathroom only separated with glass, not a problem for couple.
The room aircon is good, cold enough to counter tropical weather.
The good point is hotel located around food & shopping area, so this is good for those who drop by to hotel for rest and continue for shop whole day in Singapore.

Room Tip: If travel with family or bring lots of luggage, you may choose Deluxe room

this hotel is located between 5 mins walk from the bugis junction, where is also the nearest mrt located. Across the pathway to the nearest mrt, you can see lots of middle restaurants, cafes and convenience store, but that is not considered as slump area. So, basically the hotel is well located.
The room is very small, perhaps only about 6-9m2. You have to stop by the lobby and ask for room access instead of directly go to your room as there are security system in the lift which prompt you to do so. The price is quite high for such tiny space, but considering its in singapore and the convenient location, after all i think they got reasons to put those price tag.

me and my spouse decided to only stay here one night.

our room in 6th floor, it was humid and a little bit smelly.
it seems like the linen was not changed, we both felt itchy when we sat on the bed.
we could not stand more. checked in at 7 pm, went around Bugis area till 12am and we had early check out at 6 am.

more, its location was not too good too. it's 3 blocks from nearest MRT station, Bugis.
overall, we did not enjoy our stay here.

Room Tip: had early booking from their website to get discount.

We stayed here Nov 2012, as a stopover enroute to cheaper SE Asia countries. The first night we arrived after a late international flight (11pm) so were just looking to get showered and sleep. Unfortunately the hotel got off to a bad start: the lights didn't work in our first room, so we got moved to a tiny box room with no windows right next to reception and were told that for our second night we'd be moved to a better room (we'd booked a more expensive room with windows). 15 minutes later we got a knock on the door and told we could move next door to a bigger room. This turned out to be more of a storeroom as there was a stack of towels and staff cooking equipment in the room. The next morning we moved AGAIN to a proper room, this time with a window, but unfortunately as it was on the 2nd level and facing the road it was very noisy and difficult to sleep.

Pros:
- If you get an early booking discount, it's not too expensive - for Singapore that is
- Very well located in Bugis near shopping, food and transport and it's on the direct MRT line to the airport (which is why we booked in the first place)
- Clean enough, though could definitely do with a bit more cleaning
- Secure and reception is open 24 hours
- Can store your luggage after checkout

Cons:
- Tiny rooms, and the cheaper ones have no windows and are literally like a box
- No sheets, just a blanket so you need to fiddle with the aircon temperature or else you freeze
- Like many Asian bathrooms the shower is in with the toilet so it's a squeeze and everything gets wet

Conclusion:
If you get a discount rate, you're planning on spending most of your time out and about, and you want a room with a private bathroom, then it's pretty good value for Singapore. But it's not memorable (in a good way anyway!) in any other way.

Room Tip: Early bird bookings through the Econinn website get you a decent discount. Also twin rooms means you...

I went here at 8th May - 12th May 2012...
Although the hotel is small but its clean, the hotel staff was friendly and very very helpful, it's not so far from Bugis MRT station that is in bugis junction, around the hotel there are many restaurants,,, for those of you who are Muslims do not need to worry because the surrounding of this hotel there are lots of halal food restaurants.

The Only one that made us suffer is, if you are placed in the corner of the room (room 406/room 405) try to remind the hotel staff for a room next to room 406 / room 405 to not turn off the air conditioner when night, because it will impact the next room, at that time we did not could not sleep because the room air conditioner next to our room was turned off by guests in the next room.

Room rates at this hotel are friendly enough, for those of you who visit singapore aims streets and did not stay long in the room, the room rates at the hotel are extremely recommended

The see through bathroom is suitable for couple or close family relatives, ask the hotel staffs for the passwords for WIFI

Room Tip: Corner rooms are quite large from other rooms and have windows, there are WIFI also
