This is a new spot which is located between Raffles Place (behind Far East Square) and Club Street. The bar/restaurant is located in a typical Singaporean shop house, and has been renovated well. We went for dinner with a large group of friends, so it can accommodate both small and large groups but you may want to book at there are 42 covers, and it is already popular among both post-work and early-evening crowds. The menu covers the Mediterranean bases and I tried lots of dishes. For me the clear winners are (for starters) Burratina, (for main) tomato, fresh mozzarella and bazil pizza on wholemeal base - this is definitely a great vegetarian option, which is pretty hard to find in Singapore. There is also a wide range of cocktails and an extensive wine list so you'll be hard pressed not to indulge. Now one of the more surprising aspects of this place is the table service, you are looked after well. If you want to sit outside you'll either need to be early or be prepared to wait as they are gold dust! This place is a welcome addition to the Singapore bar/restaurant scene and somewhere I would consider for a business lunch too as it pulls off smart casual and relaxed well.
