The atmosphere here is unusual - a slightly Art Deco feel with Italian touches makes it a bit like stepping on to the set of a gangster film. The menu is basically Italian with some Sardinian highlights, such as 'culurgiones' which are potato and mint-filled pasta dumplings. They're interesting but a bit heavy for the climate. It helps to make a booking, lest you walk in and find yourself at a table near the pizza oven. If you want to be that warm while you eat, you may as well sit outside. All the plates of food looked very good and the tortellini in brodo was excellent. Reasonable Italian food close to Orchard Road.
