There was clean and staff was friendly. Very good place if you won't have a lot of baggage or you want save a money. Free wi-fi is very quickly.

Noisy. You can heard by night when people come back to the pods from the bars.

Stayed for three nights, and overall, the experience was very good. The whole place was nice and clean, and the staff helpful. The pods themselves were not as small as some would think, and I could comfortably move around within the pod, and sit up with plenty of clearance above my head. I never felt claustrophobic at all and I'm 1.7m tall. Having stayed at other hostels before, being in a pod does give a greater feeling of privacy.

The individual shower facilities were great and really puts The Pod above your usual run of the mill hostel. New towels were provided every day too. The location is pretty good, with Bugis/Nicoll Highway MRT stations both within walking distance (I walked both), and the Arab Street/Kampong Glam area has a number of places to eat and drink.

The wifi worked effortlessly, and I can't comment on the breakfast/nespresso as I didn't use them, preferring to go out and find local food. There is a lounge/kitchen area, but I felt like some more common areas would've been better.

I slept quite well and was neither too hot nor too cold in just shorts and t-shirt. At the end of the day though, The Pod is hostel accommodation, and you will be sharing a room with a number of different people, which may affect the stay. You will hear people talking, snoring, and generally moving about.

The Pod would be great for solo travelers and couples, who are after something better than normal hostel accommodation, but without having to step up to a motel/hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights and wasn't disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the dorm-like atmosphere was great for meeting other travelers. The bathrooms and shower facilities were quite clean as well. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and close to the Bugis MRT station. I was too hot one night, so I talked to the front desk staff and she adjusted the air conditioning for me right away. Recommended for the budget traveler who doesn't want to stay in a dive in the interest of saving money.

I stay one night during my 22 hours transit at Singapore, the most expensive city in the world. This is a very well appointed hostel with a lot of privacy. You are slepping in the dorm style hostel but you feel that you are slepping alone because the design of the "pod". The bed was soft and good and they provide two pillow. Clean towel was provided. The bathroom was extremely clean. Although the shower and toilet are communal but it is not like the one in military barrack. I like the bathroom because there shower and toilet altogether inside the bathroom. This hostel provide public ironboard, hair dryer and washing machines. The Japanese style capsule hostel is clean and the room temperature is quite nice and not very cold. The breakfast is very good with chinese dim sum and bread. Coffee and tea are free, Try the coffee, it is the highest quality of taste. The safety is their priority. Every guest will have a keycard to enter the hostel, the room, and the locker. Without keycard you will not able to enter the hostel. Althouh staying in the hostel, but you still get the privacy as all pod have blinds. The hostel location is premium, 5 minutes walk to Bugis Junction with the subway station. Travelling from Changi Airport to hostel less than 30 minutes. Walking straight the Beach road will bring you to Raffles City and Suntec Convention Center with the big shopping mall. I would recommend for short stay. Bed with front entrance is better than side entrance as you can keep low the noise while our guests are walking pass through or the bad issue is snoring guest.

Room Tip: Front entrance pod is better than side entrance as it is more quiet.

I stayed at The Pods twice and tried the queen and single capsules. The queen was good for two and single was spacious for just me, bit if you're taller than 170cm, you'll probably find it squeezy. Bathrooms this second time is not well cleaned, and I didn't see the cleaner around either. They can be better. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, The Pod is not the place to go. But if Your're looking for the fun to stay in hostels with more privacy whenever you want, The Pod is top notch. I wouldn't say it's a hotel. Not children, family, or elderly friendly as you might have to climb up to sleep on upstairs bunk. Very suitable for the young, adventurous, and energetic.

i stayed 4D/N at The Pod to attend to some business concerns in SG. just wanted to try it for experience. i have stayed in other hostel type dormitories , in europe and once in SG also, but The Pod was totally a different concept from other shared-room hostels. the room smelled nice. orderly system for shoes and lockers. nice buffet breakfast with fresh fruits on the table plus a very warm crew always ready to help you with your needs. i will definitely come back here and recommend The Pod to my friends.

Room Tip: since the pods are 2 levels - much easier to use the lower pod. noon time and afternoons are the be...
