Previous comments abot rooms being small are correct however that ultimately is a value for space decision each of us make. Being a larger frame European I found my week in the hotel rather cramped.

The worst aspect however is the construction site across the road. It is vey noisy with constant pile driving jack hammering abd other loud construction noises. The road in front of the hotel is constantly blocked with concrete trucks and other construction related vehicles. If you have a car you will find it will get totally covered in dust from the construction site. As I am planning to return I went to the site to talk to the supervisor who turned out to be extremely rude telling me that construction would go on until mid June 2015 and if I didn't like it I should ***** off. He also mentioned that the Saatchi building next door would soon under demolition and reconstruction.

First of all, I understand that the room will be just enough for most of asian traveller but may be a bit cramped for european or american travelers. I stayed here because of two reasons: close to the financial district and the clarke quay.

This place is strategically placed between the business district and the "play" area so you could access both quickly. This place is also near the transportation infrastructure, so you don't have to walk far to reach the bus stops or MRT stations.

The room itself was clean. The breakfast is so-so but due to its location, you just can go anywhere and try some of the local's breakfast style. I think this hotel is good for those who are spending most of his time outside. Otherwise, it will be so boring inside. However, I think I need to mention that the staffs are friendly and very helpful. So I think you could just get anywhere with their help.

Their "Delux Room" is the size of a shoe box. Room = Bed. No wardrobe, to place to move, no place for bags -- disaster. Room walls are very thin. Can hear anything and sleeping is impossible. Had to check out the night I arrived and find a different location. And they had the nerve to still try and charge me. Online it sayd (including Booking) 4 starts -- not even close to 2. Maybe it should be titles as a high end guest house.

Room Tip: Do not choose any room

The hotel is located in a walking distance to China town and Clarke Quay and only few minutes from the MRT station.

There is no restaurant, but they serve breakfast in a small space with just a few tables.
The breakfast was limited, but still enough to get the day started.
Also a big plus for adjustable air conditioning in room and very helpful and friendly staff.

Stayed here in early Feb 2014, and we loved this hotel. We knew the rooms were going to be small but we found them perfectly functional and comfortable, serviced daily. The breakfast menu changed midway through our stay and was much better. I do advise getting to breakfast before 9 to ensure you get a seat.
The wifi was fast and didn't drop out once. It is about 5 mins walk from Clarke Quay, the MRT and Chinatown.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were able to securely store our luggage after checking out.
The rooftop pool was quiet and relaxing, with a great view.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Boutique hotel in central Singapore near business and dining/drinking area. Room is quite small but clean and quiet. Bed comfortable but location with not much view. A good base if you are going to spend lots of time in pubs/restaurants in the Clarke Quay and/or Raffles Place area as they are within walking distance to the hotel. The included breakfast is simple but good enough for those not familiar with eating out in Singapore or those who are just having hangovers. Couples or families may find the place too compact for their needs but it certainly does the job for solo travellers either on business or simply pleasure.

Room Tip: Only 55 rooms in this boutique hotel so consider you are lucky to get a room on a busy area of a gre...

Second time using this hotel. It's a 5 minute walk to both Clarke Quay and Raffles Place - so ideal for evening socialising and for daytime business. Similalrly it's convenient for accessing the MRT lines at stations in both of these locations.

The hotel itself is boutique basic, yet clean, comfortable, and rooms are well equiped, if rather small. But if what you're looking for is simply a modern and comfortable place to sleep, while having easy access to SImgapore's key business district, then this is a great option.

Room Tip: All rooms are set up the same way and even those facing the road are quiet.
