“EXTREMELY Irritating service which overshadows decent food.”
Reviewed 16 February 2014

I decided to visit you guys a few hours ago and boy was I disappointed. Having sat down we ordered a beer whilst we wait for our friends, and every 5 mins or so I have to be harassed by someone asking if we are ready to order. IF WE ARE READY WE WILL CALL SOMEONE OVER ! The last time was the most irritating a old woman in an apron came and tried to insist that we needed to order something.. why do you think I am looking at the menu? For fun? Why the heck are you guys so rude, impatient and in such a hurry? I told her off right there. Stupid behaviour is not going to be met with any sort of courtesy. Then came the fiasco about the spring rolls. 5 different people came to ask if we had received our spring rolls, we said yes each time, do you guys not talk to each other? Why do you need to bother us 5 times asking the same question? The food is decent, but this kind of rubbish is unnecessary and absolutely avoidable. Because of this sort of nonsense I will not return, such a waste when you are serving decent food.

“A nice taste of Chinatown”
Reviewed 15 February 2014

Simple good food in Chinatown. Located in the shopping district, a fine eatery to stop rest, drink and eat while people watching. Service is different here--you must grab a menu and order form and fill out your selections and hand to one of the employees--we sat for ten minutes before figuring that out. You can grab drinks from the outside coolers, too--very casual. The food was well prepared and tasty.

“Singha beer and great food”
Reviewed 13 February 2014 via mobile

Very nice place in hearth of China Town. Portion of food looks small, but is it quite enough and taste is really good. Singha beer for very good price is part of every thai food :) Recommended!

“Excellent little thai place in Chinatown!”
Reviewed 12 January 2014 via mobile

Stumbled across this little place in China town this evening, The owners are really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has just been through a $400K renovation and i have to say it looks pretty good. Basically, its thai street food but really really good thai food. The tom yum is to die for, so is the pad thai and the green chicken curry. The service is good and the staff very helpful.

Meal for two with drinks was Sin $72.50. Not bad. We had about 6 dishes plus tom yum.....

One thing that did get my notice: they charge an extra $1.00 if you don't have ice in your juice.....oh yeah. Juices at Sin$4.00 a pop with ice......no ice $1.00 extra......go figure!!! Beers are reasonably priced given this is a tourist trap.....

All in all, not a bad place tucked right on the main drag of Chinatown (Pagoda Street)

“Lovingly prepared food.”
Reviewed 25 November 2013 via mobile

Fantastic meal that was simple yet tasty. You could tell the restaurant owners took pride in their food and presentation, one of the best Thai meals I have eaten (Thailand included) and all reasonably priced. Don't expect designer surroundings, it's typical Chinatown street dinning, but done with a bit more care and love than your average place!
