“Breakfast all day”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

So I was very intrigued and wanted to find out why this place was getting rave reviews and 5 stars like some 3 michelin star place, so i popped in to see for myself. So this place is a lot like Yakun and Toastbox, where they serve the traditional singapore breakfast - kaya toast and soft-boiled eggs. Are they so magical they get maximum points? Erm, not really. Perhaps they are slightly better, but certainly they're not elixirs or anything like that. I think the differentiating factor here is that this place is run by a few young local entrepreneurs and unlike the unfriendly and/or foreign staff in Yakun and Toast box, these youngers smile at customers and bring good service. So 3 stars for food, 5 stars for service

Food is consistently good, coffee is nice n thick- just the way I like it. But the MUST TRY has to be their Meesiam. OMG! Speechless. I'm a huge fan.

“For a slice of local breakfast with a twist”
Reviewed 12 February 2014

Sit back and enjoy a cup of local coffee and toast with butter and kaya here. The coffee is aromatic with a good caffeine kick, the orange ciabatta has just the right bite, and I have to give special mention to the kaya (coconut jam). Creamy, very tasty and not overly sweet, you can really taste the coconut and pandan in the kaya. The convenient location makes it an overall excellent location for a coffee break. Highly recommended.

I like their orange ciabata and tea c. Price is reasonable and of course....good service :-)

Located just next to chinatown mrt, turn left if you exit towards pagoda street.
