the hotel is 2 blocks from the subway, very great location. The room are very comfortable. From there you can walk all over. My husband forgot 2 shirts at the hotel, we call the house keeper and it was there for us to pick up. Passeio obrigatorio clarke quay

This hotel is in a good location, very close to City Hall station.

We arrived in Singapore at 7am and at 10.30am our room was ready!

The rooms were very clean although the bathroom was a little run down and needed work. Housekeeping staff were very lovely as well.

The wifi is questionable though. You have to log in each time you unlock your phone/boot up your laptop and when you finally connect it's horribly slow.

We chose this hotel for its location, you can literally go to any attractions with any means of transportation. Funan Digitalife Mall is just around the corner where you can find varies kinds of food over there. The room is clean although we need to make a change once due to the smell of it (maybe we didn't specify a room in the non-smoking floor). The view from the hotel really depend on the floors and the directions you got, you may get a "wall" view (lower level), a pool view or a beautiful Flyer and Sands view as some travelers mentioned. The staff are helpful and friendly, although the breakfast area are quite crowded and you may have to find your own seat during the busy hours (I guess that is normal for many hotels). Also, I would like to thank the staff for giving us the complimentary wifi after I ask about it (since we realized that many Singapore hotels don't provide free wifi, this is definitely a bonus for us).

Room Tip: Higher floors is a must for a better view, do ask for a view facing the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay area Ask about the wifi, the staff maybe in a good mood to give it to you for free

Hotel location is excellent with some key areas within walking distance like Funan centre (for IT enthusiasts), Boat Quay and CBD and Raffles City. Very convenient to City Hall MRT and most tourist places are only a few MRT stations/bus stops away. Hotel room and facilities are good and reasonable though somewhat dated and in need to some renovations to freshen up. Good value for the budget/average not too fussy traveller.

Room Tip: You get what you pay for. We paid for a superior room on the 8th (low floor) with not much view of the city, no noise and were satisfied.

This hotel is just a block away from the City Hall metro station (MRT) and walking distance to most sites. The room was large and on the 15th floor of the Peninsula tower with a view of the Sands and the big Durian, we didn't hear the hustle and bustle of the street as well as the nearby contrruction of the Capitol building. The room appeared clean at first but we found a pair of someone else`s flip-flops under the bed and a few stray hairs in the bathroom. The pool also needed a bit of cleaning so we passed but the kids spashing around seemed to be having a blast. Check-in took a while, but check-out was smooth and efficient. Other than that, it is an excellent value for your money and you can't beat its location!

The hotel has a few quirks:
**if you need ice, there are no machines, you have to call room service and wait for it to be delivered (if they are not out of ice buckets);
**free wifi, but if you need to use the business center (only open certain days and times) to print, it is $10.70 for 15 minutes to use a computer and $1.07 for each page you print which seems a bt excessive;
**the bathroom has a glass window to let people showering see the magnificent view of Singapore but could be a bit awkward for the others in the room as you have to look past the bedroom to see the view.

Room Tip: ask for an upper-level room with a view of The Marina Bay Sands
