We stayed at the St Regis for 3 nights on a Singapore stopover. I just loved this hotel - especially the complimentary butler service that came with our Deluxe Room. Being able to call someone 24 hours a day and get your ironing turned around pronto or a cup of tea - at no extra charge - made me feel like a princess. Its nice that the tea they serve is a premuim Singaporean brand and that the cups and silver they serve it on are of a similar standard. St Regis do work hard on the little stuff - there's even a chair in the lift! And whatever pillow you like - believe me they have it covered - there are 15 to choose from!

The hotel is well positioned around the corner from Orchard Road shopping and down the road from the Botanical Gardens. I recommend it highly.

I stayed 2 nights at St. Regis for conference and business meeting. Room was spacious, even though it was a bit dark for me. Bathroom was very nice. Too bad that I had problem to connect to the internet. The staffs were very helpful but I still couldn't get connection that night. I was expected flawless quality at St. Regis, but I guess bad luck could happen sometimes. Overall I was pretty satisfied.

Was here for the Christmas. Had a great time. Its not a very big hotel. Heard a lot about it, it stood to its name. Hotels like these redefine - 5 star benchmarks.

I mean its not all that glitzy or grand but still its the St.Regis. Wine tastings, French dining ,Tea dances & Bentley rides. Elitest of the elite flock here. Its like a religion, high in style & service. Been to so many luxury hotels in my life, St.Regis felt different. More private, more like an Elite club.

Nothing about it that makes you go awe, niether anything you can fault. Clean & Well maintained. Requests are seldom turned down and service is A+. You have to be here to experience it. Technologically advanced. Remede toiletries & Mirror image TV facing the bath tub.

Excellent hotel - if you are thinking of booking it - don't hesitate!
We are seasoned luxury travellers and this hotel has impressed us. It is brand new and impeccable inside. Luxuriously appointed rooms with every amenity you can think of. we stayed on level 18 in a room with excellent view. Were greeted with a box of beautiful hand made chocolates in the room. Free butler service is excellent - free ironing, tea / coffee service, packing / unpacking, etc. Hotel has an atmosphere of elegance and luxury from the minute you enter the lobby.
Service - fantastic, very polite, polished and considerate.
The only thing is the pool area is quite small and has only a few sun lounges. Hotel clearly caters to the business travellers more than to families.
Location - excellent for shopping, right in the beginning of Orchard Rd shops.
Food - breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner in a fine dining Chinese restaurant and enjoyed it a lot too.
Overall - we will definitely return; it's one of our favourites in Asia now.

Have stayed twice now at the St Regis in Singapore - as a brand it's first class. Classy, elegant; staff are wonderful; food and spa are terribly expensive though; pool is usually fairly quiet (and cold!) - heating the pool would be just the cherry on top. The hotel is very well located just around the corner from Orchid Ave; beautiful suites; this hotel has us sold on the St Regis brand globally; breakfast is magnificent with an outlook over the pool - one of the best buffets we've ever been to. Love that this is a very elegant and classy hotel but you can wear your shorts around. The butler service is also divine.

We had never stayed at a St. Regis before...everything that we have heard and expected was exceeded!

The Location - the hotel is situated a block away from Orchard Road. This puts you in the middle of the famous upscale shopping district and also a 10 minute walk to the MRT station which can take you anywhere on the island. This is a very nice area with plenty of posh dining and shopping options as well as hawker stalls for those who want to get a more "authentic" experience.

The Room - we broke up our trip in southeast asia and ended up with two seperate stays at the St. Regis. The first was in a Grand Deluxe room which was spectacular. The second was in an Executive Deluxe room which was also great, but a little smaller. Both had great bathrooms with seperate shower and soaking tubs. The bathroom also has a television, so you can keep watching while you soak in the tub. The other great amenity was the power outlets are universal and can accomodate any type of power input. Either room would be great for a couple.

The Service - As advertized, the St. Regis service is over-the-top great. Not only does the staff take care of any request and the butler service is there 24/7 if you need anything, but they are very friendly - something that we found you don't always get at other places.

The Extras - Wine tasting, drinks & canapes, breakfast, and spa access were our favorites. Every morning the staff puts out a huge buffet-style breakfast with a mix of both western and asian foods. There is a chef there to prepare eggs or waffles and almost anything you could imagine or desire is available. It is a great way to start the day. After a long day of exploring we would come back to the hotel in time for the 5:30 wine tasting. The hotel has an amazing wine-cellar and tasting room and the somilier serves up some of his favorites each day. With finger foods and wine insights, it is a great way to start the evening. After that we liked to head over to La Brezza (one of the hotel restaraunts) for a complimentary drinks and canapes. The hotel offers any drink on the menu and the chef prepares a different light-snack each day. It is the perfect, relaxing way to start off the evening. The last point to note is the hotel spa - it is a beautiful facility with both free access to the wet lounge and pay-for services (as desired). We didn't get massages here, but did find the wet lounge a great way to relax after a long day of walking the city.

The only "negative" comment about the hotel is that because of its popularity and status there were a lot of private events taking place in the hotel lobby and bar (wedding receptions, christmas parties, etc.). It doesn't keep you awake at night or disrupt services, but it was a little awkward at times to try and squeeze through the lobby in the middle of an elegant event.

I should note that I am a platinum spg member, so some of the free-amenitities might have been a result of this.
