“A different taste of ramen - Miharu Bahru”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

On a weekend lunch, there is a long Q of KEEN Japanese customers waiting for a place, so one assumes this place must be great. Or do they feel homesick and want memories of Hokkaido - with a quaint décor (lots of seats at not one but two counters, Japanese-style tables with hole in the middle), Sapporo beer on tap, 'Skal Refresh Drink' (milk with soda!!) Or is it simply for the ramen? The noodles (especially the 'special' ones) are chewy and excellent. They offer different types of broth rarely seen in other ramen places in Singapore, like seafood-based soy broth, a chili broth with butter (for dipping dry noodles in). It's not the best ramen you can have, but it's different, it's new (bahru), so why not?

“Average ramen”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

The ramen is decent. I have tried better Ramen in Singapore compared to this restaurant. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

“Decent choice for Ramen”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

Not the best I've had in Singapore, but fairly close to the top. Tasty ramen, not too oily, reasonable selection, friendly staff, accessible location. Been here a few times and would come back again.

“Incomparable noodles, but corn in every bowl? Really?”
Reviewed 1 October 2013

Miharu serves the best ramen noodles in town, hands down. The Sapporo-style miso-based soup is also very respectable, with excellent depth of flavor. The tsukemen (dipping noodle) broth is also really good, with a touch of lemon to freshen it up. What I hated is the mounds of corn in every bowl of ramen (I hate corn), which I sometimes forget to ask them to exclude. To corn fans, this could be a good thing.

Service is rather abrupt but attentive.

“The Best Ramen Place in Singapore”
Reviewed 26 April 2013 via mobile

This place has been my one and only favorite place for Ramen in Singapore.
The gyoza is a must to try and the ramen, I always goes to miso one. Bit salty, but you can ask for a warm water if you want to less salty. The best thing is their noodles, so crunchy and chewy. The price is reasonable, the service is so so, as the waitress seems not happy to see you. The restaurant just a normal join look, nothing fancy. However, you got to try this ramen....best of the best. Btw it's owned by the Japanese and chef is also Japanese.
