I am a Singaporean foodie who likes our local varieties of food as well as higher-quality stuff. This buffet has everything that makes me happy. It’s my third or fourth visit in some years, and their standard and spread haven’t changed much. Here, you will find lots of superbly done local dishes - char Kway teow, satay (3 meats), stir fried crabs (generously meaty types), Hainanese chicken rice, roast duck, Chinese double boiled soup, popiah made on the spot, a delectable variety of Malay and Indian dishes (on separate counters), laksa, prawn and wanton noodles etc. I have not seen a more enviable local dessert buffet anywhere else than here - muah-chi, teochew or-nee (plenty of ginkgo inside), sweet potato/yam/banana fritters, a spread of nonya kueh, ice-creams and tropical fruits, chendol, ice kacang, etc etc. there are plenty of fruit juices, barley, rose syrup, etc and also two coffee making machines. Service is attentive.
