“Gypsy Cove, Lady Liz and Cape Pembroke”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

Really beautiful place and during the summer months you can see Penguins... the walk up to Ordinance point is quite spectacular and a pleasant walk in the right weather.

Equally if you carry on walking your near the Lady Liz and then you can walk on the opposite side to Cape Pembroke lighthouse which is worth the walk and you can also rent the key for the lighhouse from the Museum for £5 for 24 hours- which I would recommend.

“Next to a minefield but better for it”
Reviewed 9 November 2013

It is a shame that the beautiful sandy beaches with really blue clear water are kept clear by the barbed wire and danger signs but it is that which preserves the habitat for the wildlife and allows the penguins etc to live without being disturbed by people and vehicles as elsewhere. Despite that, there is a well made path and viewing areas well within camera range of the beach and residents and in fact, many of the penguins live within the dunes right by the path and are not put of by you walking fairly close to them. This is a very short drive from Stanley and is close to other attractions nearby.

“Beautiful views like you've never seen”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

Was surprised at the breathtaking views. The penguins are great to watch and happily came right up to us.
The landmines signage adds to the excitement of walking around the area and watching the beautiful blue sea splashing against the rocks is mesmerizing.

We went up to see the penguins and we were not disappointed. They were amazing! The beach is fantastic and it is easy to get to in a vehicle and the walk is breathtaking.

“Lovely sunrise walk”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

Cold early morning walk to watch the winter sun rise, but well worth it. Excellent signage, easy well laid out path and lots of birds to spot.
