“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

I guess you need to see it to witness the futility of war. It is kind of sad to think this had to happen. It is so remote and rather moving. You need to see it.

“Do spare time to see this”
Reviewed 6 February 2014

This is a moving memorial to the 1982 conflict and lists all the ships and units that took part, as well as the names of the fallen. Like all the memorials on the Falklands it is beautifully and respectfully maintained. It is floodlit at night.

Incredible memorial in a convenient location. Beautiful design that really demonstrates the conflict of 1982. Recommend a visit.

“Simple but proud memorial”
Reviewed 9 November 2013

Well placed memorial close to government house, and the water's edge just off the centre of Stanley along Ross Road and near to the Malvina House Hotel. Simple design but effective and really brings home the number of units involved in the 1982 conflict and the associated logistical challenges. Worth a visit.
