My wife and I were here back in December. The lamb was the best I've ever had. It's slow cooked for several hours on a spit over charcoal. This place is casual with a very homey feel. The staff were super nice and attentive.
It's a couple of minutes out of town on the way to Caburgua and definitely worth the short trip. Just flag down a collectivo with a 1 (for route 1) on its roof for about 2.000 CLP.
The Coyote Grill is tenedor libre. This means that the meat (there's beef and chicken too) is all-you-can-eat. There's a small salad bar. A drink and dessert are also included. It took us a while to figure all of this out with our limited Spanish.
