As a luxury travel writer for world-adventurer.com, I've come across many boutiques through my travels. The Aubrey truly stands out as a boutique hotel run the right way.

Highlights include:
- Property: Set in a historic mansion right in one of the best neighborhoods of the city. The heated pool is extremely welcoming after a day of sightseeing. Artwork spread throughout the grounds make exploring the hotel an adventure in and of itself.

- Service: Friendly, intelligent staff will make sure you have a great stay.

- Location: Step outside at night to find all your nightlife needs. Walk next door during the day to visit one of the top sights of the city, San Cristóbal Hill.

No need to shop around. Book here and you will not be disappointed.

We fell in love with Santiago and this was in part due to the wonderful Aubrey hotel and team. It seems like the team are a family and you join that family when you stay!
Being as this is a small hotel, I didn't think our room would be ready with us landing at 7am, not only was the room available, but we were offered breakfast with no early check in fee. I cannot single out 1 person working there, everyone was amazing, so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It seems like everything the place has been thought out, from the decor throughout, the room design and the wonderful piano bar.

Very comfortable rooms with a great design (mine had a modern bath tub in the middle of the room). Good breakfast and super-nice crew. Everything is done with taste and you feel welcomed from the minute you step in until you wave goodbye. Warmely recommend this great boutique hotel!

If you want a "genuine" Chilean pisco sour look no further! Gorgeous setting of the piano bar, with some super hospitality and attention! Comes with some great tips on Santiago clubbing scene... Great fun!!

We stayed a total of 5 days in this lovely hotel. Excellent location in Providencia. Right next door to the funicular that takes you up to the top of Cerro San Cristobal. Staff was amazing. Martin (one of the owners) was very entertaining and made good suggestions on what to do and see. We had some difficulty with the Santiago ATMs, but Rachael (concierge) took the time to walk me several blocks to Patio Bellavista and assist with that. Definitely a level of service we appreciated. Also enjoyed a couple of evenings in the piano bar. Overall a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: We were in one of the terrace rooms. It was a good size, and it was nice to have the balcony.

My brother and I stayed here during May/June 2014 - we had 4 nights in a twin room and were not disappointed.

We had a room up on the top floor, with nice view out over Bellavista. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom the same - great shower, very clean and modern. Exactly what you would expect from a boutique hotel for the price. The only comment I would make is that the single beds felt very narrow, a wider single or a double would make the room just perfect.

The hotel staff were wonderful - and the breakfasts are such that you will not forget. A great array of choice, and a very welcoming and happy staff make breakfasts a joy.

The hotel grounds were wonderful - such rich history and architecture - we only wish it would have been warmer so we could swim!

We would definitely stay here again.

The service at the Aubrey is beyond anything we had ever experienced. The staff at the front desk and in the bar and dining room are friendly and helpful in every way. The hotel is beautiful -- built into the side of Cerro San Cristobel in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our spacious, comfortable, contemporary room included a balcony where we enjoyed a bottle of wonderful Chilean wine. While we were out, housekeeping changed the blinds to room darkening, so we were not awakened by light in the morning. The dining room staff at breakfast saw to our every need and in spite of a huge selection of cereal, fruit, breads, juices and pastries, offered to make eggs, bacon or whatever else we wanted. The pisco sours in the bar were the best we had in Chile. Our car was parked inside the gates in the courtyard, ready for us whenever we needed it. No charge for parking.
