This was our first stay in Santiago. We picked the hotel by other Trip Advisor reviews.
We were not disapointed. Excellent location; easy access to the Metro; clean; good breakfast; staff was very nice and very helpful.

The meridiano sur was the perfect boutique hotel for our 4 nights in santiago. it is located in the providencia zone of town, within walking distance of parks, the subway and the main streets. It is on a side street that made itcomfortable and quiet in the evening. The staff was very helpful, it seemed it had just been remodeled and the decoration and rooms were adorable. As coffee lovers we would have liked a bit better options, but still loved our stay

Perfect small hotel- I think it was just 9 rooms. Room are small - just what we wanted.

Service was exceptional - especially the Hotel Receptionists - in particular Angelo. Room was in the rear so it was very quiet, don't know about the others. Breakfast was included and was just what we wanted. Little outside courtyard in the back for reading, drinking, etc... Nice living room area which also had two internet stations, Did not use their internet stations as WiFi is also included. Good security - locked gate but with 24 hours coverage.

We found the location very convenient. Close (but not to close) to major streets and metro line. The metro is very easy to use and seemed safe. Many restaurants and store close - but not too close - by .

Some notes - you can hear hard shoes in room above - but only very briefly. There is no elevator so it could be difficult for impaired - although they staff would help out if necessary.

We recently stayed at this great little hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped us with transfers and suggested several very good local restaurants. The location was ideal as we could walk around and always felt very safe. The rooms we had were very light and airy, and the beds were very comfortable.Everything was really clean. The breakfast was lovely with homemade treats made fresh each morning. The ladies who organised the breakfast could not do enough for us.We felt we were staying in a comfortable home, not a hotel.

We loved our two nights at Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel. The hotel staff was very gracious and helpful. Rooms are on the small side, but are very nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the location can't be beat. Parks, trails, shops, restaurants, subway are all just outside the door. We especially loved our lunch at a small Thai restaurant just a couple blocks away. We'd definitely stay here again.

Our group of 7 had just completed a week of hiking in Patagonia and needed to overnight in Santiago before heading to Easter Island. This hotel was fine for overnighting though it was a somewhat long taxi ride from the airport. The neighborhood was very quiet and seemed safe. Rooms were small, but clean and pleasantly appointed. We had to leave very early in the morning but the management made sure that breakfast supplies were available. The front desk staff was excellent. They helped us print out a change to our plane reservations and when our pre-arranged airport transportation didn't show up in the morning did all they could to help us find alternative transportation.

Room Tip: The upper floor rooms seem better. The room that is on the ground floor has a "basement"...

What a little gem....the hotel is charming and the staff were fantastic, big thank you to Angelo, for his warm welcome and excellent recommendations of local restaurants. The hotel, as the name implies is petit but that only adds to the charm. My room was immaculate, and the bed, linen and fluffy pillows was one of the best I have slept in on my travels through South America. The hotels decor is funky, chic, and relaxing, loved the private courtyard that was sunny and had amazing white climbing roses that where in full bloom. The staff stored my luggage on checkout as I had a late flight out of Santiago that night and welcomed me to use all the facilities of the hotel until my airport transfer arrived at 8 pm.I would not hesitate in recommending the Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel to anyone and hope to return for a longer stay at sometime in the future.Loved the Hotel, Santiago and Chile :)
