Clean modern hotel in great neighborhood. Very friendly staff who were most helpful. There was even a little display of wool and crafts for sale. Breakfast was a little sparse but we got our raspberry juice. Our stay was enjoyable.

My wife and I and our daughter and son in law stayed 3 days at the end of a 3 week trip to Chile. We had 2 rooms on the top floor. Really nice. Light and airy and good amount of room. Amenities were very good. Location excellent and in a safe neighbourhood. Easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping and the metro. Angelo was extremely helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. His English is very good (and so too other staff) and his advice and recommendations excellent. It was a very relaxing end to our trip. We would certainly recommend Meridiano Sur Petit to others.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely boutique hotel in the middle of the Santiago neighborhood called Providencia for two nights. We were near so many great restaurants and main thoroughfares, but yet the hotel is in the middle of a lovely and quiet area. We felt quite safe walking around. The Chilean people are so friendly and courteous. The Meridiano Double Room we stayed in was on the floor above the ground floor, Room #4, which faced out onto the street and the bathroom window was on the side of the building. The balcony opened enough to stand out upon but not room enough for a chair. The room was very spacious but we had so many suitcases that the room was crowed for us. Not a complaint, just a fact of too much in a smaller environment. The bed was comfortable and the A/C more than adequate. There were no elevators but Florian carried our bags quickly and effortlessly to our room, both coming and going. Florian made reservations for dinner on two nights, one which was his recommendation (Baco) and the other our choice (Astrid y Gaston), both very excellent choices. We had booked a tour with Santiago Adventures for our first full day and for the day of departure. The staff was extremely courteous and when we asked for more towels, it took minutes for them to arrive. The cleaning help was great and after we checked out and were waiting in the lobby for our tour, they gave my wife a pendent made of a local stone, a knitted refrigerator magnet and a chocolate, which was so thoughtful. Nothing we asked for was refused by Florian and the staff. Florian was exceptional and made our stay perfect. He helped us print our boarding passes for our flight home. Always with a smile. The breakfasts were good and the crape-like pancake, cooked to order, was delicious. Cereal, meat, fresh fruit, cheese, coffee and juices were provided, along with rolls, toasting bread and sweet bread. We would come back and would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 4 for it's baloney and size. It is on the street side and morning traffic can be of a concern to a light sleeper.

We stayed at the Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel in mid-February three nights. We loved every minute of it. The rooms are a good size, not huge but big enough for a king size bed and two night stands. We stayed in room 4 on the second floor the first two nights in Santiago and then in room 6 the last night in Santiago. Room 4 is in the front/side of the hotel and overlooks the upper patio. Room 6 is on the lower level and overlooks the lower patio/courtyard and is just steps from the dining room. Both rooms have nice bathrooms and fluffy towels. If you like to use a wash cloth, make sure you bring one, they are not provided.

The housekeeping staff are very friendly and eager to make your stay a comfortable one. The front desk staff are font of knowledge. They know the fun and interesting places to go in the city. They can also arrange a cab for you. We did that twice and it was just added to our room (about $40USD)

The hotel is conveniently located in the Providencia area of Santiago near the Manuel Montt metro stop. There are plenty of places to dine nearby and the tourism office is around the corner in the event that you don't want to take the sage advice of the staff at the hotel.

Breakfast is served and is great. A selection of cheeses, breads, and fruit and one day we had a crepe-like pancake...so good!!!

You an also walk around the whole area without a problem from the hotel.

There was construction happening across the street from the hotel but we didn't even notice it was happening from within our room.

Overall, it is a great place! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! They are even gay-friendly. They didn't blink at providing me and my husband a king size bed and did not treat us any differently than we would get in most US cities. The place is modern and comfortable and the TV is good to catch up on international news (most channels are in Spanish only). Staff is fluent in many languages. I was able to use my Spanish and my husband his English.

Room Tip: Room 4 is great!
