We spent several nights at Le Reve in feb and had a comfortable stay...the rooms are very spacious and attractive, the breakfasts offer many choices and there is seating both inside and outside in a beautiful garden. The location is terrific

We arrived there at about 11 a.m. after an interminable 9 hour flight and two hours of dealing with customs and luggage and finding our driver. We were not in good moods. Within minutes we were given our room keys. Our rooms were actually READY for us. We were amazed. There was even coffee and cookies in the lobby which we were encouraged to enjoy. (We did!)
The rooms were spotlessly clean - more than adequate as to size - amazing as to amenities. And a super large shower. One lovely touch: lavender scented soaps and shampoos which were made locally.
Location: we needed lunch but didn't want to walk far. We didn't have to -- a nice variety of restaurants with a block or so.
The hotel is built around a perfectly charming courtyard which was a great quiet oasis for an after a nap cocktail and for breakfast the next morning. Breakfast (and evening coffee and the "honor bar") was very European with a great variety of meats and cheese as well as pastries. Totally lovely food and super coffee.
All in all it may be a reason to return to Santiago -- we only stayed one night on our way to catching a cruise in Valparaiso and would gladly have stayed longer.

Room Tip: Get one overlooking the courtyard...it's quieter and the courtyard is lovely.

What a lovely little boutique hotel. Its unfortunate that we only stayed here for one night as La Reve is delightful boutique hotel. We booked a suite which was enormous but I would say that for one night it was possibly too much and seeing some of the more standard rooms they would have been more than adequate.

The hotel is spotless and tastefully decorated and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We were given good suggestions for our afternoon in the area.

The breakfast was delicious but there could have been more attention given to the state of the buffet. The food was certainly ample and tasty, but the buffet was not kept stocked enough on this occasion and some attention to keeping the buffet area cleaner would not have gone amiss.

We also stayed at the Ritz Carlton on another night passing through Santiago and wish we had stayed at La Reve instead, so much nicer.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the hotel. Arrived in the morning where we were able to check into our room. Breakfast was over but we were offered coffee which we enjoyed outside in the terrace. Afternoon tea is available as is a 9 pm snack. The breakfast the next morning was slow in being put out. Eventually the eggs and breads were served. The staff was always available for questions and suggestions. Our suite had a sitting room, large bathroom and a bedroom with a king size bed. The pillows were uncomfortably hard. Location is great. At the corner of Providencia with access to restaurants, coffee shops and the metro.

Looking at the photos on TA of LeReve Hotel I feared I might have over anticipated what it might be like, but no, it is just fabulous. Great location on a side street with a busy shopping street and the metro at one end and a lovely quiet park at the other. The exterior of the hotel is very classy and the interior is comfortable and welcoming. Our bedroom, a deluxe twin the cheapest in the range, was more than adequate, comfortable beds with crisp cotton linen, good bathroom and fabulous shower and a few quality amenities, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc. Breakfast is delicious but the coffee in the pot is only luke warm but there is a capsule coffee machine which makes stronger hotter coffee. Having breakfast outside in the courtyard is a delightful way to start the day. The front desk staff are so helpful and enthusiastic when recommending things to do and places to eat. On the recommendation of one staff member we went to Bocanariz which is quite a distance from the hotel. Absolutely worth making the trip for and we wouldn't have known how close it was to where we were planning to be that day if the fellow hadn't told us. Other staff recommendations were very good too, especially on a Sunday when the city closes down. Our flight was delayed leaving Santiago and the staff made us feel very welcome and helped us to contact our airline to make sure of new departure times, compensation etc. We had a front room so there is a bit of street noise at night but nothing too bad although a room on the courtyard side would probably be quieter.

Room Tip: A room on the courtyard side is probably quieter.

Around 12 of us stayed at this super boutique hotel on and off for over a month. We could not fault it. The rooms are delightful and the courtyard for breakfast and drinks in the evening is a real bonus. It is situated in a great area with a number of excellent restaurants nearby. The staff was exceptionally nice and could not have been more helpful in every way possible. We could not recommend this hotel more highly.

Room Tip: Room 205 facing the courtyard was our favourite.

We stayed for 4 nights . When we arrived and checked in and went to our room . The room was small with 2 twin beds but as I looked around found that the carpet was dirty with stains and the bed skirt was also dirty. I called the front desk and explained the situation they informed me that the hotel was booked and he was sorry that they would chAnge the bed skirt ect. I told him I understood but I was not happy,he then told me he would call right back . Within 5 minutes we were changed to a larger king size bed room on the first floor . It was all done with apologizes and very kind

Here is my views on the following:
Rooms--beds are very comfortable , there is a very small closet or armoire in some rooms. The bathroom is on the small side but very adequate and new looking, the shower was the best ever.
Breakfast---they have a free breakfast that consist of cereal selection and two type of juices, scramble eggs ,a selection of cold cut usually salami, ham and prosciutto ,and bread and coffee but only milk no cream !
It was more then adequate and very good. At night they offer coffee and juice and cookies .
Hotel-- the hotel is situated on a side street it is a boutique hotel
Cozy but not large. The main floor has an area with sofas and books it is a very nice area to relax. The outside courtyard is beautiful and so relaxing. They offer a small honesty bar with wine and a variety of liquor that you fix your own and fill in the voucher with what you used. The hotel front doors are kept lock and you ring a bell to get the doors open .
Area-- this area is full of shops but mostly restaurants the side street the hotel is on has a few consignment shops , bars and restaurant it is a beautiful street. We ate at the sushi restaurant across the hotel and it was absolutely delicious , we also ate at the tapa bar and it was good the bar gets beyond packed and the service is very slow to go there you must not be in a hurry .
There is a park at the end of the steer that is beautiful ! There is also a bank across the street and the hotel changes currency.
Conclusion: we loved chile it is a beautiful country. The area we stayed in was lively and perfect. I have to say I didn't like the downtown area it is full of graffiti and not that clean. But it was all different in the area we were staying . We did the hop on hop off bus . I recommend it highly they sell the tickets at the hotel. The subway system was so clean and inexpensive and very easy to use. There is so much to do there and lots of side trips.
I recommend this hotel highly they are all so kind and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Without a doubt I would stay there again. Enjoy
