We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed Santiago.
It's a nice place but little expensive hotel.
The food was really good.
The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff was kind with us.
Excellent location, on a quiet street near to restaurants and stores.
Beautiful and lovely hotel.

I stayed here three weeks ago. It is a lovely hotel. The garden is gorgeous. Peaceful. The room was small but really nice, clean. The bathroom was really modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. And last but not least- it is in a great location. Accessible to restaurants etc but on a quiet street.

We stayed here three nights with a break between stays so managed to enjoy two different rooms. Both had lots of space with extremely comfortable beds along with overly generous sized bathrooms. Room 12, one of the top floor junior suites, had an especially luxurious shower along with a massive private terrace. The hotel is located on a quiet side street and the rooms are very quiet with effective and near noiseless in-room temperature control. The wood flooring is sometimes creaky but never bothersome and is part of the charm of the nearly 90 year old former residence. The building wraps partially around a beautiful private back garden with pool that provides a peaceful respite and a charming backdrop viewed from the breakfast room/afternoon tea room and terrace. Breakfast is ample with cooked-to-order eggs along with an array of juices, cheeses, meats, fresh fruits, and tasty baked goods accompanied by very good coffee preparations and tea choices all attended to by the cheerful morning staff. The hotel does not have a full service restaurant but afternoon tea/coffee and accompaniments are available each day. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the response to a minor repair item was handled quickly. As others have mentioned, LBH is located in a lively bohemian neighborhood with easy access on foot to a range of good restaurants, other neighborhoods, and a nearby metro stop. If you like a small quiet hotel with access to lots of interesting places nearby, this is the place for you.

This was an extremely nice boutique hotel with an excellent location in Santiago, close to many trendy restaurants and bars. Our room was lovely with a nice size bathroom. Although it was on the first floor, next to the lobby, it was very quiet. The neighborhood was very nice, and we felt safe walking to the close-by restaurants at night. Most impressive was the staff and service, which were exceptional! They prepared a breakfast for us hours before the breakfast buffet opened when we had an early flight. They also rescued us from a tour we had signed up for that was late picking us up, and instead, switched us at the last minute to a wonderful tour company which came immediately. In addition, they were always helpful and welcoming and greatly contributed to our stay in Santiago.

This s a good option if you want to be in the downtown area. The neighborhood of Lastarria/ Bellas Artes is a cool boho area close to Plaza De Armas and the business district. So it's great for first-timers wanting something with easy access to downtown sights like Cerro Santa Luca, La Moneda, Bellas Artes (museum) etc.

Pros:
1. Great great showers and nicely appointed bathrooms
2. Decent breakfast and nice afternoon tea included
3. Friendly staff
4. Very clean, new so beds are good, etc
5. Great neighborhood for food - make sure to try Emporio Roas for ice-cream and many restaurants along Lastarria including Boca Nariz, Patagonia, Opera, etc

Cons:
1. Not that cheap although I gather Santiago is generally expensive
2. No complimentary water in the room
3. Floorboards creak although otherwise quiet
4. Some rooms can be small with no views. For more than one person you really need the larger rooms if not to be on top of each other all the time.

Room Tip: Avoid room 8 unless traveling alone. Rooms facing the road have a nice view of Park Forestal.

Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. They helped me sort out a flight booking, organised excursions, provided a VERY early breakfast on the day of my departure, served me coffee on arrival late at night. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast is good and generous. The room is comfortable and well appointed. I cannot find fault.

We stayed at the Lastarria for 2 nights. It did exactly what it said on the tin: it was a very pleasant boutique hotel. The room was a good size and was furnished very nicely. It was quiet which is a top priority for me.it was in a good location. Lastarria, the area, is quite trendy with lots of good places to eat. It is also within easy walking distance of the old centre. The staff are very helpful. One thing we particulaly liked was that there was a free high tea at 4-6pm just when you needed a pick me up on returning to the hotel.
