I've been craving Indian for a while after moving to Santiago from Australia, and this is definitely what the doctor would have ordered!
The owner personally greets everyone as they walk through the door with a huge smile on his face. He'll sit you down, and start to get to know you/question you; where you've come from, what you like and don't like, etc. He'll give you his personal recommendations after he figures out your tastes (he knows the menu off by heart), and for us the selections did not disappoint.
The menu has a HUGE vegetarian selection if you're vegetarian, not just 10% or less of the menu.
We ordered a bunch of things, first with one samosa and one other thing (I can't remember the name) for entrée each, and for mains, we ordered mango chicken, a lentil dish (which Clinton apparently made famous in his autobiography) and lemon rice. The lemon rice didn't taste very lemony so I asked him about it and he apologised and did the rice again for us to take home (which was much better!). Throughout the night he kept coming up to us and asking how everything was and was very attentive the whole time.
Pricewise, it was expensive, but well worth it.
Great ambience, great service, great food! Definitely going back there again.
